I am not local or familiar with the area, so I found her spot through a quick google search, as she was the closest to my partner's moms house. I love that April lets you text to book! Even though the hours were posted as closing at 5, she told me to come in at 5 which was really nice, considering it was a Saturday. April is funny and FAST. With the virus and all, it had been a year since my last wax, but she makes you feel so at ease and talks to you throughout, so before you know it, it's over! Her prices are super affordable. If i lived in Winston, I'd come here regularly!

I went to April and she was fabulous! She makes you feel comfortable, welcomed and explains to you every step of the process. Her prices are very reasonable for her services and the amount of time she spends on you. She always asks about my life and remembers important details about her clients. Since my first appointment a few months ago, I now go to April not only for waxing but for eyebrow threading and facials. I don't even live in Winston-Salem and drive from Raleigh just to see April! I hope this shows how awesome she is.

I notice many reviews are 3+ years old, I can only assume a possible change in management. Please trust, give this salon a try! I am new to having a scheduled wax maintenance. I stumbled upon this salon when searching for local salons and booked an appointment online. Booking was easy and communication reminding me of my appointment was timely. The day of my first appointment, I was asked to arrive 10 minutes early to fill out new client paperwork. Once the paperwork was complete, I was guided to my room. My waxologist explained everything to me and stepped out for me to get ready. Once she returned, she guided me every step of the way through my wax. She was kind and patient understanding this was my first. The experience was great and the results were excellent. Immediately after my appointment was finished, I scheduled my next appointment and created a timely cycle that fit my needs. Overall, I have visited this salon more than a few times and every experience has been perfect. I highly recommend Radiant Waxing as your go to wax bar in Winston!

The staff acknowledged the issue and told me I could reschedule with my preferred wax specialist. Unfortunately, I had to travel out of town before I was able to do so. To date, I have not received a refund or credit for the remaining balance of the service. Additionally, I was treated disrespectfully throughout the process. The director, Khadijah contacted me and, rather than working to resolve the matter professionally, attempted to argue with me about my concerns. She initially offered me a promotional service at another location to make up for the experience, but later withdrew that offer, stating she could not honor it. It appeared that the decision was made out of spite rather than as part of a fair resolution. Overall, I am disappointed with how this situation was handled. I expected professionalism, accountability, and appropriate customer service, but instead experienced poor communication, disrespect, and an unresolved issue.

I was a couple of minutes early for my 12:15 appointment. When I went back to the pedicure area, Chuck had another client in the chair and it was apparent he wasn't close to being finished with her. There didn't appear to be another tech to be able to do my pedicure. I pay good money for their services, and I am a generous tipper. Yet, no one seemed to care that I was going to have to wait at least 30 minutes. This was a Sunday afternoon, and they open at noon. I had received a confirmation from the salon for my appointment time. WHY would you start a client, knowing you have a fairly regular client coming in in 15 minutes?
