Being a Big Sur/Monterey local, Adam provided extremely helpful insight and feedback for my proposal. He definitely helped relieve a lot of the stress during the planning phase of my proposal. On the day of the actual shoot, the day-of jitters was overwhelming at times, but Adam's energy and demeanor was very centering. I called to ask about my sons photos and the code and was told that they would send it to me and I would then be able to view and purchase photos within a 2 week period to be able to use the $30 security deposit I put down. I called and left a message and was then told my $30 security deposit I had paid had expired 2 weeks after my session. I had heard from other parents that they had also had unpleasant experiences, now I see why. Communication with this company is horrible.

Rebecca was the only photographer in the area who was willing to work only three hours on a Saturday evening, versus the typical 5-8 hour packages everyone else required. Rebecca and her assistant took us to the Surfrider Museum before the ceremony to get some shots of the two of us. I thought we'd just go and get a few and be done, but they were willing to go to multiple areas to get a range of backgrounds. I loved her creative eye taking us to a field of dried grass and trees - the photos there turned out great! She was even willing to edit and send me a handful of photos just a few days after the wedding so I could include them in a slideshow we were showing at a hometown reception the next weekend. We set up an engagement session with Julie prior to our wedding and that solidified our decision in knowing we had picked the perfect photographer.
