All I wanted was two candy bars I found in the 50% off cart. My grandma was getting a few things so I asked her if I could add them both on, she said yes. As I put them on the counter I told the cashier, Ricky, that they were both from the 50% off bin so he scanned one then saw the orange tag on the other one and I swear he had a stroke in front of us. He didn't understand how to do the discount and acted like it was my fault. He obviously didn't know how to void an item either from a transaction because he said "I guess I'll just HAVE to restart the whole transaction" since he scanned one item and didn't put it in as discounted and didn't understand how to void items. I understand if you're new, but I was told by a local that this wasn't the first gas station he worked at. I also understand maybe he is a bit slow at learning but he was a complete jerk to me and made me feel bad for having the audacity to buy something in the store. After three minutes I just grabbed the items and put them back and walked out while my grandma got her own stuff, which he only had to scan and have her pay for so at least he can do that much. He was extremely rude and only said thank you when I took my stuff back to the shelf and left. The BP down the street is way better and the cashiers are very nice and the mocha slushy is so tasty. read more
