This is a fairly new kitchen - I'm sure there is a lot of turnover here. Anyway, I can offer you the following. Ambiance: Nonexistent. This is takeout only. It looks like you can order ahead and the staff did know English, so you can phone in to avoid standing in the cramped front space. Service: Pretty good. The guy up front verified our orders, only asked for payment at the end. The receipt did not show details but food is very reasonably priced. While we waited for our fresh-cooked meals, we saw others come in, pay, and get their packaged meals to go, including some of the food up front (like fried chicken). Food: Eh. I kinda liked my shuco, but I was hoping the meat would be less hot doggy. But it wasn't bad taste, and a great value. My one coworker said his tacos were a little dry, but they unexpectedly came with a soup and he thought perhaps they were meant for dipping. Perhaps - that could be better explained. My other coworker liked his burritos but not the fries. Overall, not something I'd go out of my way for, but we got what we wanted. I am keeping the other (closer to home) Guatemalan place on my list, but I can now say I've had their cuisine.

I wanted to avoid some of the usual suspects, and came across Prince and it's high reviews. So I decided to give it a shot. The place doesn't look like much from the outside - your typical chicken take out joint. There's barely any seating inside but it's not the type of place where you hang out from what I can tell. It's pretty basic inside with a chest of drinks and a simple counter. The menu is mostly focused on chicken and with good reason - they make it really, really well. We took our orders back to work with us and after opening the bags, others in the office were immediately intrigued by what we had brought back. I'm not sure what they season it with, or what they fry it in, but the fried chicken was absolutely delicious. Very juicy with a thin but perfectly crisp crust and a great flavor. The only downside is that the sides were meh. The mashed potatoes were the same as you'd get at any chicken place (KFC, Popeyes) and the biscuit was dry and uninspiring. But man was that chicken fantastic. So, pick up a chicken meal or just get some chicken and make your own sides - this place is a diamond in the rough.

I ordered the ramen but also needed to try the fish tacos. The tacos were traditional doubles topped with white onion and cilantro. The fish was seasoned nicely and chopped up in the taco. The fish itself tasted very good but the portion size was off, it wasn't enough to fill the tortilla. I would get again but would ask for extra fish. I liked the ramen too. The broth was similar to Birria consommé with a splash of lime, not spicy but very flavorful, strips of beef and some onions and egg rounded out this good soup, and a good portion. A few friends also visited days later, all had various Birria items and enjoyed. Customer service was friendly and I like that you get a text message when your order is ready. Now I have the shrimp Birria tacos in mind for a future visit.....
