I found Dr…read more Markey to be very professional, and at the same time made me feel very comfortable with the procedures. He is definitely my kind of doctor, taking lots of time with me and encouraging my questions--both at the original appointment and during the aftercare. I especially appreciated being able to get quick answers to my questions during the aftercare, which left me totally at ease. I also appreciated that he valued my time, and my appointments always ran on time. I rarely find this to be true with my other doctors. Dr. Markey's nurse commented that he is the kind of doctor you want because he is a perfectionist and never rushes his work. Overall, I can honestly say that I had excellent care in my journey toward looking younger. And Dr. Markey was very friendly and thorough during the entire process!

I was hoping to be sharing a 5 star review, but it did not turn out that way for me. The positive…read moreof the surgery, is my nasal hump is gone and my profile is good. The negatives are I now have a front profile that I hate! My nose is twice as wide as before the surgery, I have nostril asymmetry, which makes my nose look crooked, and multiple bumps and divots in the bone/cartilage. The worst though is that I have lost feeling in the lower half of my nose. It has been over 14 months and I have been told there is less than a 2% chance it will return. As for Dr. Markey and his staff, it all started out well, but by 6 weeks post-op things changed. Some of the phrases said to me by Dr. Markey; "Well I can only get the plane in the air; the rest is out of my hands." "Yep, it looks awful!" "You know if you are not happy, you do not have to come back and see us." And if those weren't bad enough, his assistant told me at my 6-month post op, "You're not 18 anymore, not sure what you expected, but you are not going to heal well." I honestly think Dr. Markey does great work, is personable and has a great bedside manner. However, I just don't think he, nor his team, know how to deal with a bad surgical outcome, which is what I experienced and am still experiencing over 1 year post-op.

They constantly check in with you to make sure you are doing okay, listen to your concerns, and are great people! They also give you an AMAZING turkey sandwich and friendship bread!! I recommend them 100%! They told me that after the procedure, there would be a shedding phase and that the new hair growth wouldn't start for 4-6 months. It was hard to be patient during that time because I didn't know if hair would actually start growing! They reminded me to trust the process. Hair started growing at the implant sites when they said it would and continued to fill in over the next six months. Pictures included of my pre-procedure, monthly progress, with final picture being one year since the transplant.

From the moment you enter his office, it is clear that Dr. Young has an extraordinary eye for detail.
