My surgery went beautifully, and within hours of arriving home, I received a personal text from Dr. Young making sure I was comfortable and had everything I needed. From the moment you enter his office, it is clear that Dr. Young has an extraordinary eye for detail. The walls are lined with striking, lifelike black-and-white charcoal drawings that initially appear to be the work of a professional artist. It is remarkable to learn that Dr. Young created them himself. That artistic talent reflects the surgeon behind the work. The precision, patience, creativity, and meticulous attention evident in every drawing are equally apparent in the care he provides his patients. It is easy to feel confident placing your trust in hands capable of creating such detailed and beautiful work. That combination of surgical skill, artistry, and personal attention is rare. I have extreme dislike of all things medical, so ordinarily I would rather do just about anything but go to the doctor. Every visit to Monarch has been very pleasant. Everyone with whom I have interacted there was very nice. Dr. Bene and Ann, his assistant for the procedure and who removed the sutures, are terrific. It is obvious they are very experienced and skillful, and it is easy to feel relaxed there. I have not really felt relaxed in any other doctor's office, to my recollection.
