My employer hired him (at a price much higher than two other attorneys we checked into). She hired him because he said he was "a Porsche." He said he was going to fight for her. But after a short time, he started saying things like, "You need to change your attitude" (because the other side was being unreasonable and I wouldn't capitulate to their demands). He encouraged us to give the opposing side everything they asked for...and more. I believe in being accommodating, but the other side needs to be as well, and in this case, they weren't.
We asked him for a copy of the paperwork he had done so far (something my employer is entitled to and shouldn't have to ask for) and, so far, never received it. After that, my employer terminated the contract, asked for an accounting and a refund of any unused funds, he never sent that to her either, and it has been months. He also argued (in emails) when he learned my employer was terminating his services. He was very unprofessional.
I would not recommend this guy to anyone. She has hired another attorney who she likes so far, and is not encouraging me to change my attitude; but I am waiting to write a review until after her case is finished and I've had a chance to see how he does. read more
