I really enjoyed my visit here today. I have grown very fond of Kratom for energy since I don't drink caffeine. Mike Sr was there and we had a long chat about their supplies. They have been there for 5 years and I felt really safe buying from him. He said his son, Mike is extremely knowledgeable and I look forward to speaking with him soon. Best Kratom, CBD, Kava, etc. shop in town. Hands down. My wife suffers from DM1, cancer and lupus. She is no stranger to pain. She had been in pain management through her doctors for decades but wanted to try something more natural. We tried a couple of shops in town and were initially impressed with kratom just as a product having never tried it before(I also take Kratom to help with back pain due to a slipped/bulging disk). My wife eventually found Kratom NC and we were immediately enticed by the much lower prices he offered alone. Imagine our delight when after trying his product for the first time and finding out it's also twice as better as anything else we'd had. This alone is enough to make me a regular customer but Mike, the store owner, is the icing on the cake. He has a great wealth of knowledge and respect for the industry he operates in. He knows how important his product is to some people (like my wife) who need it to operate on a daily basis. He even stayed as open and available as possible during and after hurricane Florence when most other places were closed for days. I use Kratom for my knee pain as well as to help me sleep. I'm not a doctor and I don't care to promote or discourage anyone from trying it - all I know is it works for me and I don't have to take painkillers or use sleeping pills. With that being said, this place is great! The owners are extremely nice and very helpful in offering information and even samples. You can't go in the store so you just pull up in front, call them, and they bring out whatever you want. It's cash only or Venmo, might accept PayPal too but I don't recall. Mike is a super nice and knowledgeable businessman. Prices are by far best in town, and surprisingly cheaper than anything I've seen online either! Great selection as well, and the staff is happy to take the time and help you pick a strain that will best help whatever your need is for. As far as Kratom itslef, it's a gift from God. I don't usually write Yelp reviews, but realized this place needed one. I suffer from chronic pain due to neuropathy and other issues. I am also a Registered Nurse. My pain had gotten to the point where I was not functioning and I was in misery all day and night. After some research, I decided to try Kratom. I didn't want to go to a head shop and have a teenager sell me something that they didn't know much about. I found this place on Yelp, with no reviews. Checked out the website and decided to give it a try. It is a bit of a hole in the wall, but I don't mind that as I have found that some places might look really nice, but their business practices are not good. After speaking with the staff (the first being the owner's mother) I found that the business is family owned and run. They are knowledge about their product, as Kratom is the main thing they sell. They also sell some CBD products. They use their own product as well. They took the time to listen to what my ailments were, and were able to suggest certain strains for different problems, and also ones that are better for daytime vs night. The recommended a starting dosage for my size, and the different ways to ingest. They also provided me with a few free samples. This product has been a game changer for me. It has helped my pain immensely, and has also elevated my mood and helped me be more productive. I went back 1 or 2 days later to get some more, and was helped by the father, who was just as knowledgeable and helpful. I will continue to return to this place for my Kratom. Just a heads up, leaving the parking lot can be a bit tricky when traffic is heavy. Go check them out!! read more
