Working in the not for profit world, I spend a fair deal of my time having to negotiate for business's to assist us with services or financial assistance. Although a NGO might want to run on love alone, there are of course some practical business elements that need to exist in order to keep it afloat.
When deciding who to approach for pro-bono auditing, we decided to go to KPMG because they have a stellar reputation. To my delight, they made time to meet with me and were very compassionate and kind about our situation.
