LGBTQ COMMUNITY NOT "A GOOD FIT" My sister and her fiancé…read moretoured and loved this venue. She contacted Patty the next day to reserve and pay. She received a heartbreaking email back this morning stating that she and her fiancé "are not a good fit for their venue" because they do not host same sex weddings. Keep in mind, my sister and her fiancé drove 4 hours to tour "The Bella Barn of West Tennessee". They showed up as a couple, introduced themselves as such, were given the tour and pricing. At no time during their visit were they informed that they were not welcome to hold their wedding at this venue due to their sexuality. I understand that it's the owners choice whom they allow to use their facility, HOWEVER, they should be transparent about their views. This place is homophobic. I love my sister and her fiancé dearly and pray this review will keep other same sex couples from going through the same feelings of discrimination they are feeling right now. This type of discrimination is no different than telling a bi-racial couple, brown couple, or Jewish couple they are "not a good fit". Please, if you love someone who is in the LGBTQ community, do not use this venue.

If I could do less than 1 star I would! A man (you notice I didn't state gentleman) answered the…read morephone and I tried to place an order from the website. He stated that he may or may not have the flowers to do it. He informed me that he didn't know what the arrangement was since they were done in California. He said he could look it up on the website or I could describe it for him. Then again stated he may or may not have the flowers to do it. I asked him to look it up on the website please. He then asked me to describe the arrangement and what flowers were in it and I told him I should probably call another florist and he told me, "You go right ahead and do that!" then hung up on me. Now it seems to me that if you have a website for people to order from that you should know what you have advertised out there. Also, how am I to know what all the flowers are in the arrangement? Can he not even take the time to look it up on the website? How this guy stays in business is beyond me! Don't order from Bills Flowers and Gifts unless you can describe in detail what each flower is in the arrangement. AND remember, he may or may not have the flowers to do it......jerk

I will stay here again when I'm in the area and would highly recommend the Heritage Inn to anyone.

We enjoyed getting to know Tracye during our engagement session and this made the wedding day go even smoother as we were already familiar with each other. She was an absolute trooper during our rainy wedding day, making sure to keep us out of the rain while still finding great places around our venue to get shots done. We were even more grateful she pulled us outside once the rain had stopped to get more pictures made that we couldn't get done before.
