He personally calls patients for follow ups prior to surgery. It is true that appointments never start on time, but it is because they talk to each patient as long as needed, rather than rushing. I also trusted Dr. Stern to perform surgery on me. I haven't had issues with rude staff. I have been to both the Auburn and Federal Way offices. Both have ample free parking. I plan to recommend Dr. Stern to friends and family.

Be aware. Ask the question if the minor "procedure" you are thinking about having done could be…read moredone easier, faster, and much less expensively by your dermatologist. Docs get paid per procedure, therefore you likely won't be able to combine 2 simple procedures into one visit. Instead you'll need to schedule each separately, which means at least 3 more visits... and much more cost. One procedure I was considering having done, removing a simple skin lesion, would have needed that: initial consultation, procedure, follow-up. Instead, my dermatologist took care of it in 1 second. For free! Did they suggest I also check with my dermatologist? Nope. My gut instinct paid off... and saved me at least $1,000. Yes, they do good work, but looking out for the patient's costs should also be important. Consistently long waits in the waiting room.
