Having seen a chiropractor for, ah, since my Millennial offspring was born--I had my priorities. I've seen these in: Arizona, Connecticut, Mexico City (yes, the one in OLD Mexico) etc. etc. And I say without reservation that Dr. Shaver is an excellent hands on chiropractor who does "tune ups" and whoops I need more work in a professional manner. Office runs usually like clockwork, easy parking (the joys of small town) and is friendly and easy to talk to and with.

Ann is the greatest chiropractor I've ever been to in that after a little while I needed her less and less on a regular basis and only see her now for an acute episode. On top of that she is trained in another modality which she used to heal my carpel tunnel on both wrists.

I've been dealing with shoulder and neck pain for decades, but this past year it attacked my right shoulder more stubbornly than ever. I went through all my usual cycles of chiropractic manipulations, acupuncture, physical therapy, and even tried Reiki this time; but after 10 months the pain has not subsided at all. Based on a recommendation I decided to give Steve a try, and it was a really worthwhile decision. Steve spends a full 45 minutes with each patient, and takes a very holistic, thorough and sustainable approach to treatment. What comes across is that he actually cares about your health, more than he cares about locking you into a string of dependency-induced visits, like many chiros. Steve does not deal in "crack" style manipulations, and focuses on root cause education, soft-tissue work, and providing exercises for home. In the area of hands-on work, Steve is very skilled in soft-tissue and provided me with a lot of physical relief during the visit. I left his office feeling educated, empowered and relieved. It's now only one day later and my right shoulder feels substantially better, like it's finally on the path toward recovery.

When I told her I was paying out of pocket and couldn't afford that, she gave me a second adjustment and then just walked away. No other modalities, no advice, no checking range of motion for changes, no checking in, nothing. I can understand a conservative approach, but this felt lazy, dismissive, greedy, and rude. I left in tears, because that is a huge amount of money for me and I have been waiting in pain for months to be able to afford it. The receptionist was kind and gave me a discount to $140- after I was crying and said I'd never be back. I've never left a yelp review before, but I feel compelled to warn other people before they waste their hard-earned money too.

The staff is friendly and there is never an issue with scheduling--Dr. Levine will come in early or stay late to make sure you get your treatment. At the risk of sounding like an infomercial, Linda is truly a wonderful person and her ability to emotionally connect and put patients at ease is an added bonus to the physical relief attained during her sessions; you pay for an adjustment and leave with a smile, thanks to her enthusiasm and effervescence.
