I paid Rauser and Associates $2800 dollars in November of 2022, being told our Chapter 13 case…read morewould take 36 months. After the Firm had our money in hand, they stopped calling/emailing us back. Our attorney would go as long as six months with no contact with us whatsoever, despite reaching out frequently. Our attorney filed incorrect paperwork, leading to a stressful audit. Later, the firm reached out to tell us we would lose our house in a "Sheriff's sale". After playing phone-tag with them, we were finally told this was a "mistake" and that they "mixed us up with another client". In year 2 of our Case, our attorney forced us to call of work for a hearing that was again because of his negligence, and only told us after the hearing that we didn't have to appear. During our case, we totaled a vehicle that had GAP coverage. The firm insists we still must pay for this car monthly despite this. As we approached the 36th month of our case, we tried reaching Rauser daily to find out how to finish our case. Despite making all payments, the firm now claims that an additional $19000 is needed before we can close out our case. We only learned this from calling and emailing over and over. Please google reviews from google, yelp, BBB, Glassdoor, and Indeed to see this is a problem that has mired this Firm for 15 years. Incompetent, unprofessional, and constantly bungling their cases. We were hit by a drunk driver and all 4 people in my car got hurt bad. The idiot person that hit us did not have insurance and our insurance company said we could not even get the medical bills paid. My husband called Bruce Boerst and he immediately met with us and even called the insurance company during our first meeting while we were still sitting in his office. He started working before our first meeting was even over! During that one call...Bruce demanded that our ins co send him a full copy of the policy. Bruce took one look at it and called the insurance company back. In that 30 min, Bruce made the insurance company agree to cover our losses. We finally got our bills paid and when we were all done seeing doctors and having therapy, Bruce and his wonderful assistants told us to be prepared for even better news. Bruce investigated and found out that the drunk guy was driving a car that had insurance and Bruce made that insurance company give us the money we deserved for our injuries, money from missing work, our pain and suffering and even got a large payment for each of our children. The money for the kids is in safekeeping and will be a LOT of money available for our kids for future medical bills if they need therapy in the future. If not, that money for our kids will be able to pay for their colleges! Thank GOD several of my friends and all the people that my husband works with said "CALL BRUCE BOERST"" !!! I guess a really good lawyer SHOULD be busy! We laughed and my husband said that any lawyer that is NOT busy is a lawyer that probably doesn't have any other clients and probably is not too good. We tell everyone to call bruce if they are in an accident. He is the best lawyer by far!
