We walked into the "consultation" expecting that an attorney had reviewed our paperwork previous to the appointment and the "client navigator" would share the broad stroke strategy the attorney had conceived. What we got was that neither Cayce nor an attorney had read anything I had provided previously. It was literally, "So tell me about your situation." Huh? A consultation is defined as a conference at which advice is given or views are exchanged; a meeting to discuss the treatment of a case. How can that be achieved when one party hasn't even read about the case at hand? For a law firm to be inaccurate with it's language is enormous cause for concern. Additionally, Cayce was late to the 9:00am appointment. My father opened the office door for her yet when she came into the meeting room, she lied about her delay saying she was conferring with an attorney. I guess it's true, you get what you pay for.
