This place was great. There were 2 playsets in the area we visited and the kids enjoyed them both…read more The first one was by the lower parking lot and closer to the water. There was a lot of seating available here to eat and watch the kids. They really enjoyed playing on the second structure better (it was across the field near the higher parking), as it had an insect-style shape and the chairs you can spin in. After playing, we followed the scenic trail (you are walking on wooden structures) and found ourselves at a boat dock. Next to that was another park with a gazebo, playset, swings, and merry-go-round. The kids spun the whole time and really enjoyed themselves at this third playground. I walked the shore a bit and got to soak in some good views, including seeing the seating area for Boatwerks off in the distance. There was a bit of litter, which shocked me because of the area, and the port-o-potty was terrible.

If you care about safety and health and overall being responsible about the environment this place…read moreuses tons of chemicals completely irresponsively and ignorantly there is absolutely no reason to kill flowers at a park but they feel the need to literally dump chemicals in inch all over all the way up to the sand into the water the chemicals are everywhere and there are dead fish there are dead worms that are dead birds there are dead animals all over when you're walking around just because they felt the need to dump chemicals everywhere to kill flowers and wildlife absolutely disgusting absolutely disgusting I walked down here every day with my dog and before it even got warm enough for anything to start doing anything they felt the need to go around and use way too fucking much chemicals for some reason because the birds butterflies bees all the animals don't need nature to live what is the point of having apart what is the point of having a nature reserve area because it is in fact a nature reserve since it rate on the signs when you go to the park what's the point of it if they don't care about the safety of anybody or anything in the area absolutely ridiculous there is no reason to even have chemicals around anymore on earth that kill flowers there's no reason for it
