This is a family owned business that's been in operation for four decades. As well as pre-loved items, they also make and sell their own pine furniture. Everything is locally made and they can custom build to your design. There are actually two arms to this business - one part of the shop is the Disposals area and the other is called Mr Bookcases. If you're looking for something to sleep on, something to sit on or something to hang on your wall and you don't want to spend a lot of money, you may just find what you're looking for at Unley Disposals. The shop itself is pretty hard to miss but I always look for the dummy soldier in his army greens out the front.

Not only do they sell good quality and cheap furniture items, they have a range of really quirky things that you probably wouldn't find in many places around Adelaide. Eureka flag included. From incredibly awesome Ned Kelly coffee tables, to beautiful dining tables, to mattresses... There is a whole lot of items available in this massive store. Apparently their stock changes on a regular basis also. Some of the items are second hand, and some of them are new, and some of them are even custom built. It's also family owned, and all the stuff is made in Adelaide. Love.

Dude. Gross. I've…read morenever liked cane furniture all too much, and being in a store with filled with it makes me feel like I'm in some sort of retirement village. I've got a few elderly relatives that would be head over heels (in an injury-free sort of way) upon coming to a store like this, but if you want to retain any remnant of modernity to the interior decor of your home, I would advise you to turn and run. But to be fair, there were some decent looking outdoor chairs hidden throughout the store; stuff that I wouldn't mind buying for myself. One of their black cane outdoor furniture sets could actually be a very nice fit to a modern outdoor setting, but finding these items through an array of outdated designs will really test your searching abilities. Perhaps when I turn old and grey I'll develop an affection for unsightly cane furniture - but until then I'll look for my furniture elsewhere.

As a result, nearly every traumatic injury of the first eight or so years of my life generally involved cane furniture. As a result, I'm not a fan. Hell, maybe I wouldn't be a fan anyway. But this place, this is alright. If you're looking for cane furniture, then this is probably your place. I came in here a few weeks ago searching for some white wicker chairs for my mother-in-law, as for some reason she seemed to have lost her sanity and decided that they would be appropriate. I was fairly impressed with the range of furniture. It was pretty good quality stuff, but I think my cats would rip anything I bought here apart in a matter of seconds. But then again I've got really destructive cats. The people that work here I only briefly talked to, but they seemed to know their stuff, and were nice enough. I'm sure if I ever wanted to buy cane furniture, this would be one of the first places I tried.
