Golden Panty you were such wonderful friend when I was in college. After the bars closed on my walk…read morehome I could always count on you to come through with my late night drunk munchies! You had everything from fried chicken, tator logs, and biscuits to hotdogs, popcorn, and candy. You never once let me down on those drunken nights as we stumbled home from the bars. And those nights when I didn't have much money you were there with your $.99 popcorn that one could fill the box with other foods then top for popcorn to fool Helga the cashier; which knew what you were doing but didn't mind. Then on a recent trip to Milledgeville I tried to eat your biscuit sober one morning and it didn't go as well. The biscuit just wasn't as good and made me feel horrible the rest of the day. I guess those days of drunken Golden Panty love are over.

Yum. When I walked in (new photos showing the, OPEN sign, and part of the interior), there was a different cashier on duty. And, she turned out to be the Manager. So, hopefully, she'll tell Yelp that they're Open. Today, I noticed that their shelves were stocked better than last time. So, that's great news. When I told her my favorite beer, it turns out that their associated, and next door, store, Tiger's Bottle Shop (separate review forthcoming), is a Beer and Liquors store. And, had the beer that I like! So, really good news, as I no longer have to rely on InstaCart for beer delivery (save money, too). And, because TsBS didn't have any Honey Roasted Cashews, the Manger of TsM&G, walked back to the store, and brought over a few packets of them. Both cashiers were really nice, which made shopping there a pleasure.

They always seem to have the lowest gas in this area but when you try to pay with cash for the lower gas, they never have any. They only have the expensive gas 93. This is a scam to get you to stop at their location. This has happened to me more than five times. I will not be shopping at this location again.

I had planned on paying at the pump. But, I entered my old Litchfield Park zip code vs my Mville…read morezip. So, I had to see the Cashier. So, I handed her my credit card (ugh, I really hate having to do that anymore), and went out to start pumping fuel. As I was filling my tank, I noticed that I could have saved 10 cents a gallon vs 1 or 2% from using a credit card (hits self in head; gotta get use to this cash discount thing on fuel down here). But, when I went back inside to pay, she hadn't charged my c/c yet, so I was able to pay cash after all. 8-) So, rather than my c/c bill having $17.77 ($2.359/gallon; but try to buy 9/10 cent worth of gas, and see what happens. Lol), and saving .17 or .34 cents after the fact. I saved .76 cents immediately. Granted, one can't buy much with .76 cents. But, when filling up every so often, it do add up.

I ran out if milk yesterday. So, after doing my laundry across the street, and not having to go to…read moreSuper Walmart, I decided to buy it here. The convience store is quite large (takesup uthe entire strip mall), and they sell clothes too. But, upon walking through the refrigerator section, there wasn't any milk :-o . On my way out, I asked the clerk (older Asian man; probably the owner) why were they out of milk? Unfortunately, my hearing problem made understanding what he said very difficult. And, I wouldn't even want to speculate on what he said. So, I ended up next door to CVS.
