My husband was born and raised in East New Orleans, where this restaurant is located, so he knows the area very well. There were only two of us, and with the amount of food we ordered, I feel like they could've at least warned us about how large the portions were. We originally ordered the 5-piece wings, but they didn't have that option available, so they automatically gave us the 10-piece without really explaining it or saying anything beforehand. The vibe honestly felt a little like you have to know people there to get the full welcoming experience because we noticed other customers getting smiles and a little more interaction, while ours felt very dry. Not sure what that was about. Also, the food does take a LONG time to come out, but you can definitely tell it's freshly made, so I can appreciate that.
