    Kevin Kott & Gabriel Medrano are without doubt the power team at Paul Kott Realtors. They absolutely sold our home and yes maybe this review might be bias but read on. The real estate market nowadays has to be one of the most volatile markets there are, especially because of all the economic bad news and hikes in interest rates. We had tried selling our home about this time last year and failed, so we were somewhat jaded by the time we ran into Kevin and Gabriel in the process of selling another home in our neighborhood. All of their flags and signage drew us to them. We thank God to have met them both, as well Paul Kott himself. Paul Kott Realtors have been in business for the past 41 years selling real estate properties in the Orange County area. There isn't anyone that can match the knowledge and experience that we got when we signed up with them. Kevin & Gabriel brought in the old school style knock & talk, with an infusion of the high tech internet interaction to the general public, we were highly impressed. Gabriel brought in a tablet (he was trying out) that buyers could view during our open house. There was also a scan code on a place card that any potential buyers/realtors could scan on their phones. I'm telling you after only the one open house there were a few offers and 2 backup offers. Our home sold immediately that first weekend. There were more than 75 groups that showed up during the first open house weekend. Not only were there a large number but most groups had realtors with them. That's the important part, serious pre-approved buyers is what that meant to us. Now with many home sales things don't necessarily always go as planned. There were many bumps towards the end of our escrow that would have totally flustered other realtors, but not Kevin. He kept a level head, a business mind, and it was his experience that helped us navigate what turned out to be many difficult situations during our sale, but he got it done with confidence. We 110% recommend Paul Kott Realtors if your selling property in the Orange County area. We'd especially recommend hiring the power team of Kevin & Gabriel we can't thank them enough. Thank you Paul Kott for teaching these guys, but we just have to say "the students have now become the teachers"...... A special super-duper thanks to Kevin and Gabriel............. Tim & Marilyn

    I thought I would never end up buying a house...so when I found my dream home just randomly driving…read moreby one day, I realized I didn't have any knowledge of how the process work. While my parents introduced me to a family friend who was a real estate agent, I had no idea how to go about finding a loan officer! After digging through Yelp/Google, I stumbled upon Meridox Mortgage that had stellar reviews and took a chance. I called Meridox and was put in touch with Trung Tran. I let him know that I didn't have any knowledge of how the house-buying process works, but he was incredibly supportive and assured me he would walk me through every step. Shortly after we finished talking on the phone, he sent me a list of items to provide for the pre-approval letter. Trung's turnaround was quick. I sent him my information in the evening and got the letter the next morning. My real estate agent used this letter to draft the offer...it was accepted! After my offer was accepted, the rest of the process was somewhat nebulous, but my real estate agent worked closely with Trung to help me through. Trung was with me every step of the way. He patiently explained how my monthly mortgage payment and closing costs were calculated and even helped me negotiate a home insurance offer. He even kept a close eye on the market and advised me when I should lock in the rate. I thought home buying would be more stressful, but it wasn't as bad as I thought because Trung made every step clear and was very on top of deadlines. From pre-approval to loan closing, it took just one month! Thank you Trung for being so diligent and patient in helping me secure my dream home! Trung was also very proactive in reaching out to me a few months later when interest rates dropped by about 1%. I had the honor of working with Trung again for my refinance, and it was also efficient and painless! I recommended Trung to my coworker recently when she was looking to buy a condo. Highly recommended to anyone who is in a market for a house to look into Meridox!! Thanks again for your hard work, Trung!!!

My wife and I worked with Liz on the purchase of our new dream house in Orange County. From the start she was going above and beyond what we were expecting. We called rather suddenly when a property showed up on the market and scheduled to go see it with her. We weren't seriously looking before this. By the time we got to the property she and her team already had a good understanding of the history of the listing and were working comps real time to give us a clear understanding of what fair market value would be. Even adjusting it for what we were seeing in person at the property. We weren't certain if it was more of a buyer's market or a seller's market as it had been a seller's market for so long, but she explained the current conditions/trends of what she was seeing in the area and gave us EXCELLENT advice every step of the way. But she was also never pushy. She ultimately left it up to us to make the decision with the information she provided. We trusted her expertise and it absolutely paid off, literally. We got a deal on the property that we are very happy with. She offered great advice on everything from prices, timing, and even when to potentially walk away. Liz has a team of people that really seem to communicate as a team, not just a group of individuals working under the same company name. In passing conversations Liz talked about how she and her team work together, and it does seem like they get to share in each others expertise and experiences to develop a good understanding of the market. Liz also talked about what she does to train her team, and she seems like a great leader. No one looks left behind to fend for themselves, and it seems very structured so that everyone has support and training to deliver great customer service. Liz has a great reputation in the area which I think was a huge benefit in our case. The seller's Realtor already knew Liz and trusted her. We happened to meet the seller's Realtor, and even without Liz present, the seller's Realtor had nothing but great things to say about their interactions. Her expertise really does seem to be in demand as she seemed to be giving seminars or talks to audiences even outside of her team. Even with her busy schedule it never really impacted the scheduling of events at our home. She always still met us at the property for events like home inspections, walk throughs, and giving us the keys to the property. She always provided great communication and was very responsive whether it was through e-mail, calls or texts to help answer questions. I can be "particular" (picky) about some things and whenever I brought up a question or concern, no matter how small, she never dismissed it or tried to excuse it as something I didn't need to worry about. She took my concerns seriously and got them addressed. Out of everything, I think this is what I am most grateful for as it kept me comfortable working with her and I never felt like she was just trying to "close a deal", which was my preconceived notion of Realtors unfortunately. From understanding your own finances to navigating the real estate market and endless terminology, it's easy to become paralyzed and lost in the storm. This is where John comes in; he is the lighthouse guiding you safely back to harbor. John has deep industry experience. He understands the market, what's out there, and exactly how the process works. Most importantly, he listens. He truly understands your situation and has your best interests at heart. John remembers your goals and what you said would make you happy, using that as a compass for every decision. At times when we couldn't find the right fit and I started to deviate, he would remind me of my original vision to ensure I didn't settle. I'm going to say it twice: he truly has your best interests at heart. I have a tendency to push my limits, and John wasn't afraid to step in and advise me when something might overburden my finances. He isn't just trying to close a deal and meet numbers; he cares about your future. He is incredibly patient. There was definitely a learning curve for me, but John understands that everyone learns differently. He took the time to rephrase complex concepts and provided examples to ensure I fully understood every step. He never made me feel "dumb" for asking questions; you can tell he genuinely cares through his tone and approach. John is also remarkably responsive. Whenever I found a listing with high potential and forwarded it to him late in the day, he would acknowledge and respond promptly. Even when I felt bad for reaching out late, he provided peace of mind by doing his homework immediately. We were often at the property the very next day. He acts fast and efficiently. Finally, he is solution-oriented. There were many times I thought a goal was out of reach, but he would do the research and return with a Plan A, B, and C. This gave me so much hope and reassurance throughout the process. The home search is a roller coaster of emotions, but John is there with you side-by-side from start to finish.
