I would not recommend this company. They installed several glass pieces throughout my home, and one…read morepane became discolored. Initially, I was told it would be covered under warranty. Then I was told I would have to pay out of pocket, followed by another explanation that it would be partially covered (materials only, not labor), and finally that it wasn't covered at all. The lack of clear communication and constantly changing information was frustrating. I was also told I would receive a follow-up call, which never happened. What should have been a simple glass replacement turned into a waste of time. I ultimately found a local company that completed the work for about half the cost and was much easier to work with. They were also far more professional and friendly compared to the technician who came out, who seemed uninterested and was not particularly courteous.

We accepted after my husband asked a few questions. They took the measurements that day. We gave 50% deposit check. Fast forward to about a month later. The glass had arrived in their shop, we scheduled an install date. Jesse and Dee arrived to do the work. Efficient, friendly the door looks wonderful. An enormous improvement from the temporary doggy door we had. (Freezing last winter) This new door is being enjoyed by all of our large dogs. No cold air. We can finally close the sliding glass door again. Two thumbs up gentlemen. Thank you. Our cost was $1500 (And a quote of $5000 for French Doors) if you want to go fancy.

Our experience with Nicole and Dave over the past 10 years has been the best! When we remodeled…read moreour 1976 home in 2017, Nicole helped us with window coverings for our kitchen, living room, 2 bedrooms, study, and our entire basement. She offered quality products, expert installation, and excellent support that have served us well. Most notable has been our motorized blinds for our kitchen garden window. Although there was no specific product on the market for what we wanted, Nicole improvised and adapted a suitable product for an excellent solution. 5 years later, when a motor reached end of life, Nicole obtained a replacement under warranty and Dave installed and adjusted it perfectly. 5 years after the install, a mishap caused us to need help reprogramming the remote. They hadn't forgotten us. Nicole dispatched Dave to come solve the reprogramming issue the very next day! I know from first-hand experience with the biggest Hunter-Douglas business in Colorado Springs, Window Covering Gallery's products and service are by far better than what the best the biggest Hunter-Douglas store in town could offer and do for us. Window Covering Gallery earned our trust as our go-to business for window covering products and support.

I have waited 8 years to leave this review after working with Nicole Hammond and Exciting Windows…read moreas she has made it clear she has NO interest in upholding her end of our contract. I paid in full (almost 15k) for her to do my entire new-build home window coverings and provide me with a lifetime warranty on all window coverings. I want to be fair and transparent. I paid her for services and products that failed right after installation and have been in communication with her directly ever since. I have text messages to prove everything I am saying as well as receipts. Exciting Windows was the company I worked with Nicole under and she is the owner of that current company and now this new space. I would normally run to support any local woman-owned small business, but Nicole is unprofessional and unethical. As are her husband (installer) Dave and Mike (installer). Those are the only 3 individuals I have interacted with since 2018. You pay her and her company in full and if they determine they don't like you or find you "toxic" then they tell you to go elsewhere to fix their shoddy products and garbage workmanship. I will now chronologically list all issues we have had since the beginning and let you decide if this is how you want to be treated by a vendor. 06/22/2018- I texted Nicole that the black out shades we paid a premium for my daughter's room and were custom-fitted made for her room still let in too much light. She has Mike her installer come to try fixes that were not working. 06/26/2018- I hadn't heard back from Nicole or Mike so I sent her a picture of my daughter's metal custom frame pulling apart from her window where Mike installed it. She responded "Yikes" and said she was working on a final solution. 07/02/2026- Mike came and tried to fix the blinds in my daughter's room by drilling and it still not working and letting in too much light. She told me I could purchase curtains, even though we did not want curtains, hence the blinds we custom-made with them and that her company could shorten them as the window is shorter and I could pay them $50/hour to make the curtains work. I told her this won't work as light is still going to get in and that this is not what we paid for. 08/07/2026- after going back and forth Nicole admitted they failed to deliver what they promised and did give me a $50 gift card to find a curtain that would work. I appreciated the gesture so I let this issue go. 10/29/2018- there was one large window in the living room we elected not to cover and then decided we wanted to. Since Nicole was still kind and responsive to issues I reached out and paid more money to her company to have them install electric shade with a remote. 11/20/2018- I text Nicole that they installed my living room blinds, but that there were aesthetic issues and with the brackets they were hitting the wall so they stick out too much. She agreed this was not good and said she will sent Mike back out. 02/12/2019- I noticed some cut out windows in my kitchen as the season changed let in too much light. I went back to Nicole and texted her asking if she could make window coverings for them. She scheduled to come by 03/04/2019 and then cancelled due to a snow day. I told her no worries and we rescheduled.03/20/2026- they came to install more coverings, but forgot to take care of some issues we had with a blind rope needing tightening, fabric being frayed and ruined, etc. She apologized for missing it and asked me for pictures which I sent her. 04/15/2026- I sent her more pics of things falling apart on the blinds and broken pieces and even joked she should rent a room in my house since there are so many issues with the window coverings. The next day she asked for more pictures from me and measurements which I gave her. She updates me that my blinds at the shop are under repair and will be ready soon. 06/05/2019- I text Nicole more issues and pictures of pieces falling off my window coverings and breaking. They came in the coming weeks and made the repairs. 08/07/2019- Texted Nicole that the custom roman black out shades (which are not actually black out) will not roll all the way up above all windows like they are supposed to. She says she will send Mike out to fix them. He does, they break again. 01/06/2020- I text Nicole about another broken piece on our patio window door. She sends Mike out again. He never calls or comes out. 01/29/2020- I have not heard from Nicole or Mike, so I text Nicole and tell her there are even more broken parts now and my blinds are falling apart and won't open. Mind you, from June 2018-2020 I was still referring my friends and family to Nicole because I felt she was willing to do whatever it took to fix things and if they couldn't she was sending things back to the manufacturer to fix. I felt like she was trying and that she cared. That changed moving forward with the timeline below... 01/17/2022- I text Nicole that our bedroom roman shades are still not fully functional an
