Halloween night. The Aeronaut. A cabaret show from another dimension…read more Never would have found this place on my own, but holy hell am I glad we had friends in the know. After some time guzzling pitchers of Pimms Cup in the garden, we made our way inside for the show. Hats off to these performers. Maybe I was just wasted, but I felt like I was having a fever dream at the Moulin Rouge - in the best way possible. Get in here. This place rocks.

For the Friday evening Cabaret you have to book ahead which only cost £5 up to the last 2 weeks before which is when it goes up to £8 and you get to watch some weird and wonderful cabaret acts during the course of the evening. As far as the acts were concerned it was a bit hit and miss and I was expecting a few more. We had a hula hooper and a contortionist which was insane to watch!! An aerial hoop act which was impressive but quite short, a juggler who probably didn't need to be there and the finale .... Rayguns Look Real Enough who were a comedy music mashup duo who were fabulous!! Highlight of the evening! As a while though I think the acts were a but hit and miss and unfortunately the compere wasn't going down too well either!! Oh well!! But the evening was incredibly fun and once they cleared away the stage it turned into a dance floor and the DJ played an array of hits from 50's through to today with a lot of emphasis on 80's and 90's hits which were great to sing and dance along to. Before the show started we did have a table so we could eat food and there was your usual selection of burgers and salads etc. I went for the veggie falafel burger and to be honest it was extremely bland and needed a hell of a lot more tzatiki and condiments to improve it's flavour! It's great that I was subjected to the usual fried vegetable burger and there was a mushroom risotto on the menu but the burger definitely needed more flavour. It was a bit more like mushed falafel and falafel needs to be a little more grainy I think!! The chips were good though, hand cut, crispy edges and soft in the middle - mmm!! As for drinks they do have a selection of ales on tap, some local, a porter and a stout that were exciting some and all the other usual things a pub can offer. Price wise I think it was pretty reasonable. All in all we did have a great evening and I probably would go again. The place is new so it is probably still getting it's sea legs a little but do pop down for an alternative evening of circus acts and then fun music to dance the night away to - we stayed so late it was a night bus home!! Always a good sign!! Xyz

They won't open the doors until shortly before showtime, food is extremely limited and even the popcorn is pre-made bags like what you would buy at a grocery store which I have never seen at a cinema before. The standard sears are very comfortable, the larger bed seats also look nice but they are right under the screen. Worth doing once, not sure I would go back again.

The really cool thing about this place is that there is no time limit during the week, so your kid can play there all day ( well, from 10:00 - 18.00). During the weekend its super busy and the kids can only play for max 2 hours- thats why we like to go during week days. There is also a Cafe area for the adults with free Wi-Fi, toy shops, organic food, drinks, coffee etc. The staff is nice but they have a couple of ladies that remind me of witches and they look very bored with their lives. One of them can be quite rude sometimes. They organise birthday parties ( with different themes-dinosaurs, hello kitty etc) and they have all kinds of deals. The parties include meals and party bags. Other facilities include separate children's toilets, disabled toilets, baby changing room and pram park. They provide baby bouncers and high chairs. A great place for local families with young children and a great place for kids to burn off their energy when the weather outside is sucky.

He loved playing in the under 5's ball filled play area and probably would have liked to been there all day if he had the choice. Parents can get in too and it is a lot of fun- just remember to wear your clean socks as you have to remove your shoes! It's is the ideal place for a birthday party as you dont have to think about the entertainment! After 45 minutes in the play area (more than enough for me!) the kids were taken upstairs for food and cake. The downstairs cafe sells organic drinks and snacks which is good if you dont fancy your kids going wild on a sugar rush. Bramleys is the perfect way to release your inner child and let your child play in a safe envirinment.

The website says The strength of the school is in its friendly atmosphere, traditional qualities and caring, committed staff which is true except that doesn't count for Miss Speake, Today she sent me an e mail telling me my 6 year old is basically expelled and when confronted she admitted it was because of me her mother, she said she warned me and we had several meetings which I am totally unaware of as I was never told or was in them We did have one meeting on Wednesday and it was to tell miss speake I had withdrawn Isabella from the agency as I didn't trust the agent and I felt it was a curtesy but not at any point was there any talk of Isabella leaving the school.( but that's for another time) instead of talking to me she goes behind my back makes accusations and assumptions calls me 2 faced etc.... Yes I talk with mothers outside the school who doesn't however that doesn't mean we are talking about her, personally I feel she is paranoid and has a guilty conscience.People who know me and my daughter should know I only want everyone happy I don't talk about people behind there backs and if I have issues I will address them. I admit people came to me regarding the school but I always said 2 sides to every story and go talk to both parties. Being an independent school means she has every right to do this I am sure miss speake and her supporters will be ready to stick the knife in and play the old lady card however the bottom line is she is making my innocent 6 year old daughter suffer for a grudge she has against me. Is this fair or even morally or ethically correct??? Bella is heartbroken she loved the school and loved her friend she dosnt understand and to make things worse she is not only expelled she is no longer welcomeon school premises which means she cant even attend gymnastis which she loves and is open to the public On the other side of all this she has expelled me after 20 years
