5-STAR DINNER, 3-STAR DESSERT…read more
AMBIENCE: This all-wood interior is cozy and intimate; not just with your table companions, but with those dining next to you. The servers are friendly and have a good sense of humor. They use the informal "du" instead of the formal "Sie", which I appreciate.
DINNER: We ordered the Filettopf, which was pork filets with mushroom and sour cream sauce. It was good, but nothing special. It's a classic dish. We also ordered the Salmon which surpassed my expectations. The sauce was made with kräuter butter, which I didn't think I would like, but it was delicious. The salmon was cooked to perfection. Highly recommended.
DESSERT: The Creme brûlée was not very good. The consistency was more like that of a custard than a creamy pudding. The walnut ice cream that accompanied it was delicious.
PRICE: The above plus 2 beers totaled 53€ roughly.
