I saw Dr. Albers in December. He was very much a "get in and get out" kind of doctor, making him…read moredismissive. Why I'm writing this later is because yesterday I had surgery to remove a fibroid. When he did a test he told me it was "smaller than a golf ball" and just wanted to medicate me. I learned yesterday that one took up my whole uterus and there were FIVE more. How do you miss that? Even then, when I said I wanted it out the pain was unbearable (now for obvious reasons), he kept saying "so you want a procedure no matter what then." And dismissed my pain. I immediately got a second opinion. They didn't have the images but even with his notes saying it was smaller, they said in order to have any sort of relief it still needed out. Wish I would've been prepared but obviously he either ignored the signs or didn't want to take the time to really help me. Maybe it's my weight, maybe it's that I'm a woman, either way he doesn't listen. I've been upset about his treatment for months but after knowing what I know now I had to say something. It was important to me to find someone who does gentle adjustment styles. Dr. Kathleen offers many different styles to best fit your personal needs. As a solo doc who runs her practice out of her house, you can guarantee that you never feel rushed and there are no distractions -- you are the priority the whole appointment. Some things we enjoy is that she offers package discounts, has an online scheduling system, and sees patients of all ages. My son got his first adjustment by her at one month old! She also saw my dog immediately after he had an injury & helped him avoid surgery. In addition to chiropractic, she also does functional medicine as well. She's a great person to have on your team :)

Dr Bough was so professional and exceeded my expectations. Her staff is also extremely friendly and helpful. The first time you come, it's a longer appointment, expect to be here a couple hours, and they do a very thorough computer scan. afterwards most of the appointments you'll be in and out in 20 minutes. There are some days when my military back problems cause me so much pain I'm nauseous and a session with the doc can literally determine whether or not I can do basic activities for myself that day. It's definitely life-changing right now. I've also been impressed with the help She gives to small children and elderly. Her waiting room is usually very busy and I think there's a reason!
