When I first walk in, the lady and man working were not very welcoming. She then, asks me to choose a color, so I grab one of the rings with colors to choose from, and she tells me I cannot get gel. I've never been to a nail salon that doesn't allow gel pedicures...When I put my feet in the water, it was freezing cold. I could tell he was rushing through my pedicure because a couple came in shortly after, who were both able to get gel pedicures. Tried out this Salon on Sunday this week. Was not a friendly atmosphere from the beginning. Then nail tech rudely pointed to the chair . As I sat down I asked for short and sq nails. He didn't respond. Not only did he NOT file or use cuticle trimmers ( used a dremel) no shape and the entire pedicure was over in less than 20 min. For my mani I again asked for short n sq. He did file but didn't use cuticle trimmers once again . It was 50 plus I tipped 10. I went outside and my cuticles were so bad I went back inside and asked for my cuticles to be trimmed . The nail tech saw me there and ignored me. A different nail tech fixed the cuticle on 1 finger but not the rest. Totally DISSATISFIED! Horrible experience! I live nearby and moved recently so I needed to find a new nail salon. This was the closest to home so I figure I would start here. Due to the current covid19 pandemic, this salon has screens to protect both the customers and employees. The moment my mother and I walked in, we immediately noticed how clean it was. Yes, there is a slight smell of acetone but it's a nail salon. The employees were courteous and always made sure they asked if we were doing ok during our entire treatment. We were immediately offered water when we sat down for our pedicures. They showed us how to use the massage chair and then got straight back to work on our feet. The price was good too. Horrible experience!! From beginning to end. Cheap files, cold manicure water, can't understand what she or he is saying. The worst manicure I've ever had. He messed up my nails with his own hand more than once, slopping more polish to try and cover his mistake. So much nail polish remover my cuticles are more dry than before I went in. I came in for a last minute appointment the other day after another nail salon botched an acrylic overlay with gel polish, which was a correction on a dip nail set that lifted after three days. Seriously, just because a nail salon is fancy inside doesn't mean their techs know what they're doing. Anyway, this review is about Koo Nails. Emily was my tech and did an AMAZING job. Seriously, that lady deserves a raise. She took off the bad nails and redid the overlay and gel with an impressive level of precision and skill. The transfer design is super cute too! I really love how light she went with the acrylic. I have very thin nails naturally and now I have what (I think) feel like naturally thick nails. These don't even feel or look like acrylic at all. I wish the pictures I took did her work justice. (Please excuse my crusty unmoisturized cuticles.) I am very excited for my next appointment with her in two weeks! read more

Absolutely horrible!! I went in for a manicure and pedicure. The Gentleman first ran the water so hot when i put my feet in it burned me. He used something that chemically burned my feet. He barely scrubbed the bottom of my feet and the white from the French paint is all over my toes and nail. Never offered water, anytime I tried to communicate he wouldn't acknowledge me at all. I couldn't tell if he heard me and was just ignoring me or what. It was such a bad experience I chose to leave without getting my manicure. They still charged me full price. A friend recommended visiting here for a mani/pedi. I called to see if they had availability with short notice (only 30 mins) and they happily accommodated me! I got gel on my toes and regular polish on my fingers. This was almost two weeks ago, and my toes are still looking flawless, and my nails look great aside from the normal chipping from my active lifestyle. So I will definitely opt for gel next time! I had the gentleman and he was awful, I came in asking for a pedicure and manicure and then showed a picture of the design I wanted for my nails and that I wanted SNS. He didn't do anything except add layers of SNS and GEL and when I asked him why he was putting both he said for the color... I literally have no color and he made them look like bubbles on my hand they were so thick. My experience was awful he over trimmed my cuticles and I had cut! Vien had to take over he's job and took care of me because of the business I had with her. I let it go. After 2 hours to do a pedicure, he missed part of my nails and SKIN/cuticle WAS PAINTED. An absolute disaster honestly. At first he was heave handed but I turned a blind eye thinking "I have my nails done" then I saw my feet. When it progressed to my hands he didn't know how to shape it, I kindly asked him to remove it and just give me a generic manicure I be happy with that. But instead I was left with shaved nails, chunks of plastic still stuck on nail (can see it even with cream on), no manicure last minute. No drama but disgusting honestly. Very poor service, very poor customer service. I never give bad reviews but is unacceptable to pay for that and waste my time. If you want a normal nail job, don't risk it. Honesty the first time I came here I wasn't to impressed. For the simple fact that they told me a 15 min wait time I sat there for 30 plus minutes untill I left . But I get it they were busy. I came a second time it was good now a third time and it was good. A pedicure here is $23 and they use the tools that's are sanitized per customer.They actually clean your feet really good and get under the nails. Still a pretty new place so they have lots of nice colors. I'm thinking of making them a regular. Plus it's 5 minutes away. read more

I came for a pedicure and asked for my nails to be TRIMMED. He burned me with the mail drill and cut my toes so short and uneven. When I expressed my concern they stopped doing my nails and told me no charge me to leave. When I explained this was a pedicure prior to my vacation and it was very important for me to have my toes down & I was visibly upset with the job down they still told me to leave. This rating only applies to the young man who did my nails. He drilled my nail too much and I had to say "ouch" and pull away multiple times and when he applied she gel polish he did not "stay in the lines" and then used acetone on a brush to try and clean it up. I don't recommend using him if you want to try this place out... no attention to detail and should not be painting nails. read more
