So one of the rudest waiters I have ever seen works in this restaurant. I don't know if he doesn't…read morelike tourists who don't speak Turkish or something but he was just the opposite of friendly. No one in the restaurant speaks English, which is fine, I just use Google translate. But this waiter I am talking about here, I don't know his name so I am just going to randomly assign him one. Let's just call him Dick. Again totally random name. I was asking Dick if they had the wifi password and he told me plainly that they have no wifi even though there is a network with their exact restaurant name and is the only wifi network available. So Dick was obviously lying to me. Strike 1 . Then he brings me my dish I ordered and asked me if I wanted a Coke after I already ordered. I told him "no thank you I already have water." Dick starts to scowl at me and start muttering in Turkish, most likely something not nice by the way he looked at me. Look, if you want to talk shit about your customers, at least do it when they don't see you . Strike 2 . When my meal was done, Dick brings me the check and I was looking over the bill for a minute and he starts to tell me to hurry up, gesturing the credit card machine to my face in case I didn't get his meaning. I didn't care at that point, I was so annoyed with him. I took my time looking over the bill and paid when I was ready. Dick gave me my receipt and left without a word. Strike 3 .
Now let me just say, I had no problems with any of the other waiters. I even had a laugh with one of them because of some translation confusion. Also, the food was not bad. The chicken shish and lahmacun were solid. I definitely would've given them a better review if it weren't for Dick. But alas, he really turned this into a 2 star experience.
