This restaurant would be a 3 star Michelin restaurant in the US. Prices were excellent. I failed to take pictures, because I was in awe by this amazing meal. You need to experience this restaurant for yourself as we did. We wanted to go to the Asian side and hopped on a ferry for what we thought was the central part of this side. It is less crowded than the locations around the Blue Mosque. The Ferry is a great way to get around. We stayed too long because it was amazing and took a cab home, reasonable by US standers, but not as inexpensive as the ferry. One of our party of 8 used yelp and she saw Delmare after reading the reviews we walked to the location. Located in an exclusive area on the Asian side of Istanbul. They have large windows that opened, with an unobstructed view of the water. Breath taking view and the ambulance was romantic and classy. They brought the starters out on a large wooden looking tray with about 30 beautiful starters so you could see and ask questions. Stunning. The fish main was plenty for two, or could have family style and share all of the dishes. We used chat GBT to translate the whole menu. I totally recommend sharing dishes with your party. They had a starter of fish taco, which I loved, and a white fish, lots of fish! I believe they also had an Italian restaurant there as well. Enjoy! read more

It's a good fish restaurant on the Asian side of Istanbul. If you sit by the window you can have great views of the Bosphorus, colorfully lit suspension bridge and passing ships's lights during your dinner. There is a valet parking if you get there by car. They also have a small boat to pick you up from the European side and bring you to their restaurant, in case you live or stay on the European neighborhoods of the city. The fish is fresh, the seafood meze (appetizer) dishes are tasty, the service is good. Some of the fish is expensive therefore I'd suggest to check the menu before you order. Overall it's a very good seafood restaurant along the Bosphorus. read more

This restaurant has always exceeded my expectations. It is a bit on the pricey side but it's worth the money. The waitstaff is very knowledgeable, they have a superb wine collection and the seafood is always great. You should definitely try the grilled calamari. It's good for a night for two or for larger groups. Always book a table beforehand because it's very likely that you won't find an open table for the weekend. The outdoor seating is lovely in the summer and the actual building is an old Ottoman stone/wooden house so indoors is very authentic. Especially if you can book the booth table by the window at the back! This place has never disappointed me or anyone I took there! read more
