Once I was brought to the ophthalmologist and told I was not a candidate, I was basically told to leave. The "niceties" were dropped and an odd silence took over the room. I have been hoping my whole life that I could get lasik and was upset by the results. Needless to say, I was not impressed.

She can't answer a question for the life of her she just repeats you should of asked the doctor. Common a receptionist should at least have some understanding of what the doctor does that she works for. She told me that I had messed up my appointment time even though I had a voice mail confirming otherwise and never apologized. Made it out to be my fault the whole time. Then showing her annoyance said said he could get me in (lovely). The breaking point was the last visit when I went to pay for my almost 200 dollar contacts. I explained that I was financially unable to pay for the whole bill in one go and she simply said "well then come back when you have the funds". EXCUSE me .. in my line of business we would never say that to one of our members. We would work out a plan and take down a credit card number or pre-authorized cheques - this was such a joke. It's safe to say I will not be back. I will purchase elsewhere. I've experienced many people like this lady but never in the health care system. What a depressing situation.
