History

Established in 1974.

Der Name Kolesch symbolisiert in Biberach und Umgebung eine bis ins 14. Jahrhundert zurückgehende Handels- und Handwerkstradition. Auch heute ist der Name überall in Biberach an der Riß allgegenwärtig und wird für Qualität geschätzt. Gerhard Kolesch entschied sich für die feine Conditorei und eignete sich sein Können u.a. in Paris, Stuttgart, Frankfurt, Garmisch-Partenkirchen, Zürich sowie auf einem Luxusliner zu Wasser an. Im Juni 1974 eröffnete er in der Wielandstraße ein Conditorei-Café, wie man es zum damaligen Zeitpunkt nur in Großstädten zu finden glaubte.

This is a cafe that does serve some food and has beer, at least one from a local brewery, but…read morespecializes in desserts. The cafe is located in Ehingen, a small town near Ulm. They also sell chocolate that I was told is made in the store. The better quality chocolates are about $48/kg or $22/lb. the food quality is really good a d they serve Seeberger coffee which is a good brand. I had cherry pie and it was great and I really enjoyed the coffee as well. They ran out of ingredients but also made me a ham and cheese sandwich which was very tasty that I had with beer before dessert. This place is a must of you ate in town.
