Kohl's is a nice department store in which you can find something for the entire family. Kohl's normally has great sales happening at various times of the year. I didnt see any this time around. The selection of Christmas gifts available is pretty crazy and it's not even Halloween yet. The staff is both friendly and courteous. I have an on and off relationship w/ Kohl's. About 15 yrs ago (college days), I use to frequently shop at Kohl's for clothing and jewelry. You could REALLY get some nice jewelry if you watched the sales and used your Kohl's card (extra % off). Not sure what happened, but over the last 10 yrs (partially moving to places that didn't have a Kohl's), I have probably been in the store maybe five times. When I did shop, I rarely found anything. Fast forward to moving to Fayetteville -I have shopped several times and been impressed w/ the merchandise. The store is conveniently located next to the Cross Creek Mall. The clothing for women actually looks decent on fully grown women (everything not see thru and flimsy! Ugh!). I like the Vera Wang line of purses, clothes, jewelry and bedding. Although NOT a Jennifer Lopez fan - I actually like some of her clothes and got a pair of earrings on the cheap. I got a pair of Sonoma flats for $14.99 - regularly $39.99. Kohl's offers some nice outdoor/patio type furniture and décor. The prices are quite reasonable and everything is on "sale". Which everything being on sale doesn't make much sense to me - just lower the price, but hey, I will take it. Kohl's offers a Rewards Program (can sign up in the store or online) - for every 100 dollars (or points earned) spent, you receive $5 to spend at Kohl's. If you are going to shop - why not take the free money! I also received 20% off by using my RetailMeNot app. I will continue to stop in and shop! read more

This is a review not so much about the department store itself, but the great and attentive service I received yesterday (02-04-18) from a Women's Department store representative. I was looking for jeans that would accommodate my "Sponge Bob Square Pants" waistline. About a year ago, I purchased a pair of "Amanda (Heritage Fit, Tapered Leg, Classic Rise; Slimming Jean) Gloria Vanderbilt jeans." Man, that was a mouth full. Nevertheless, the jeans I purchased a year ago are of good quality and fit well. Obviously (for me), I knew this was going to be the go-to-jeans I would need to replace my other pair. However, finding this particular style was not as easy as I would have liked. The department where the jeans are located has an interesting (let's say) setup. Not to fear though... a young woman by the name of Ms. Jasmine (Melvin) came to my rescue. Jasmines patience with an older person such as myself is to be commended. At times, patience and knowledge is a rare commodity found in younger store associates or store representatives. Neverthelessl, after trying on four different sizes, and between Jasmine's wisdom, attentiveness, and an eye for what could possibly work best for me (and that "Sponge Bob Square Pants" waistline of mine); I made a great purchase. My visit to Khol's this time around is one of the more better experiences I have had. read more

This is the first Kohl's that hasn't given discount for using your Kohl's card. While I was being checked out the very next teller offered 30% if that customer used there Kohl's card and when I brought that up the lady wouldn't discuss it. After ringing up all of my items I asked for them all but one be taken off. If she wants to be discriminatory then she can do a little extra work. I am a patriot and never ask for military discount but I did in this case just to she what she said and her response was "Kohl's doesn't do that". I know for a fact in my home town they do because I would get it automatically because many of the tellers knew me. I used to love the discounts at Kohl's but now maybe I will go to Marshals or another department store; maybe I will shop at my home town. read more

Some of the rudest most arrogant staff work at this store. They talk back in a super rude manner when their is an issue, then involve other costumers into the situation and smile like its funny. What's super crazy is the managers don't try to calm the situation or rectify any problems, they just side with their employee. And the managers are just as rude. Never again will I shop and this store because issues with there snotty rude staff is an on going issue. read more

This is a store I don't frequently shop. I was told they have "Great Jewerly" at great prices. I was looking for 14K Gold earrings...wow I felt like I hit the lottery!! Their prices are great at 65% off then you can use a 20% coupon in store from the website awesome day to shop for beautiful REAL 14K EARRINGS. I purchased 2 pair for an awesome price! I always enjoy shopping here. They have a wide variety of clothes and good choices on clearance all the time. I love receiving Kohl's cash as well. The particular experience I just had was with a cashier that forgot to ring up my shoes with a belt I had and she gave me Kohl's cash manually and I really appreciate it because I wasn't even thinking about the Kohl's cash! Went to Kohl's yesterday 1-30-20; Sara cashier and she use to work in customer service in the back. She apparently needs further training about their store policy. Used my kohl's cash and told her i have a 15% discount promo code; items purchased not part of exclusion.. She insisted that I can't use it. To make long story short called customer service 800 number and said she is wrong; because items wasn't part of exclusion. They really need to train her better to provide customer service!!!!! The store itself is nice but i was disappointed by how i was treated in the customer service/rest room area. I have a hip problem that causes me to have trouble sitting down and someone has to help me sit on the toilet so my best friend(who happens to be a guy) went into the bathroom with me. Once we were out we were publicly scolded by the customer service lady as she treated us like idiots saying only one person can go into the bathroom at a time. It was a family restroom. I hope Corp reads this. Here is the good. Selection is always great. Location is wonderful and parking is ample. Here is the not so good. I arrived at Kohls at appox 10am. Greated by cashier in a screaming high pitched voice...ok Good Morning to you too, I thought. The place was a mess..no one took the time and respect for the store to see whether or not customers would find clothing in piles on tables or on the floor like a dumpy rumage sale. I was shocked. NO clerks where to be found, and matter of fact the manager had to use his walkie talkie to find someone (who didnt work in Ladies she told me) to assist me in finding the one simple item I drove 25 minutes for. It is highly unlikely that my Kohls Experience is in line with the Kohls Headquarters. this location could use a team of undercover bosses because It was BAD. Next time I will go to Macys or Sears, and JC Pennys. Not worth such trouble. As I was given my tiny bag I was asked to fill out the survey and give an excellent on my experience.............I give it a big fat awful. read more

Organization is key to a great shopping experience.. I should not feel anxious and stressed out from rummaging through piles of unorganized clothes... The sales stickers were just tossed in the area of the women's lingerie there was no order to a majority of their floor and the price for the quality left me feeling a little underwhelmed I'd rather go to Macy's and pay the same price for a nice calm relaxing shopping experience. read more

Very confusing pricing. I added a photo as a reference. Are these character hoodies 30% off? 50% off? 30% off with an additional 50%?? I read the sign as a special offering of 50% off. If I was given the additional 30%, great but I wasn't expecting it. I waited 30 minutes in line and was told they rang up 30% off. The cashier seemed agitated that I questioned the price. I Got out of line, walked back to show the department sales person. The male manager with a pony tail happened to be there and was very rude. Refused to honor the 50% off and had a terrible attitude. I walked out of the store and went to Macy's. This particular Kohls is not customer focused. The store is often destroyed; clothes thrown everywhere, disorganized, shoes thrown out of boxes, changing rooms full of clothes and pricing not clear as shown in my photo. Be prepare to wait in line, too. I believe the problem in this store is bad management and that they're always short staffed. The cashiers look overworked and uninspired. Poor customer service, dirty dressing rooms and no one around to help when you are looking for items. Never again !!!!

I LOVE kohls! Great selection, great prices I usually have no complaints. But seriously this has to be one of the most disorganized stores I have ever been in! Clothes were everywhere, not folded, in the wrong spots, shoes were all over the place not even near the same styles. It sent my anxiety through the roof to be in there. We got what we needed but it took forever where as if things had been where they were supposed to be (ie by the labeled spot) it would have been a quicker, less stressful trip. read more

I spent a lot of money in this store but the jewelry department is worse than awful. The only size women's rings are in a size 7. We were told we could get it sized up or down one size by two different associates at two different times. We bought the ring but when we went back to get it sized down to a 6 the manager said it couldn't be done. Really? If you wear a ring size other than a 7 you're out of luck??
