I am so lucky I saw John's post regarding his experience with setting up TVs, home theaters, etc. I…read moredid need help setting up and moving some TVs around in my new home and wasn't sure who to ask. But, I also learned he can do just about anything in regards to handyman work - he just also happens to be really good at electronics. John was fantastic. He came over to see what I wanted done, took notes, gave me a great quote, and came back to do the job. The job was mostly getting cable to work in rooms I wanted TVs, but there was drywall repair and painting and getting creative with the lanai TV. He knew what to do - or if he didn't, he figured it out. He's a very intelligent man that happens to be very handy and personable. He did an outstanding job for me. I am now compiling a list of more home repairs I need help with, and will most definitely contact John. There's no way I could find a better qualified, knowledgeable person for these jobs. Can't believe I'm the first to review Mike and his company. WHY? He is the nicest, most…read moreaccommodating, and trusting contractor that we were blessed to have met and worked with. Especially considering that we live on Oahu and he on the Big Island. So finding someone we could trust to do what they say they'll do in the timeframe promised was a risky proposition on our part. But Mike won me over from the get go with his honest assessment of the repairs that needed to be done and the cost he quoted. He wasnt cheap but he was competitive and mostly he was very patient with my aging parents who kept asking him to cut out this and that to bring the price down. I loved how Mike looked for ways to belp us reduce our cost where he could but then stayed true to fixes that was important and necessary. He was also very good with sending us weekly photos to show us the progress of the job and when we could fly over to check on the work he always made himself available to meet us to go over the details of the work. Our family was very happy with his work and most especially of the "Aloha" professionalism he always showed us when discussing business. The house we owned was an investment property we had rented for years but it had been neglected too even though it was managed by a local property mgmt firm. Putting it mildly..the house was in poor condition with ALOT of work that needed to be done. Even the yard had been neglected but Mike helped us out by referring one of his workers who cleaned it up for us in one day and doing it in rain. In the end, we ended up selling the house in less than a year since Mike and his crew began the work. He did an awesome job. So easy to work with and so creative in his problem solving.
