You would think that waiting 30 minutes to get your ID picture printed versus waiting just a few seconds would put old-fashioned film developing studios like Kodak out of business. But surprisingly, there are still a lot of loyal customers, myself included. I don't know why I choose to wait that long in this digital age. Maybe it's because the quality of the prints are much nicer.
They also have other services like layout of prints and studio shots (like what they had in the early 90's with the psychedelic cloth background). One more think I love about Kodak Express is that they sell the film for Instax. I love old instant print/ Polaroid cameras and Fuji's Instax is as close as I can get to that. They maybe old-fashioned but Kodak and it's film development process is still very much appreciated in this modern world. read more
