Mike our server, was very friendly, attentive and efficient. He has a great personality and is a single dad and a hard worker. My husband and I have a particular affinity for hard-working servers as we used to be them. We used to be the ones giving up all of our holidays to wait on others, but now we're finally benefitting from the fruits of our efforts and enjoying restaurants on holidays as customers & not servers. We both opted to get the Filet Oscar! First though was The Ststion salad with mandarins, strawberries, slivered almonds on spring mix with mango dressing. We enjoyed it so much. The chunks of sweet highest quality crab meat over perfectly cooked 8 ounce filet, Medium, was as good as it gets. The hollandaise sauce was the best I've ever had- rich, tasty and I could taste the lemon in it too- I loved it! We also got dessert! The towering chocolate cake and cream puff! I cannot wait to enjoy my leftovers! The Station has always done wonderful holidays. Valentines is no exception with tables bedecked with lovely flowers and glittery heart in a mini vase. The restaurant also provided a beautiful long stemmed rose. John and Mel run a great business and we are very happy to support them and this wonderful business. Awesome all around!

We arrived a little ahead of time but were greeted and seated. We had a group of 4 and we ordered our drinks first they have a full bar and do run speciality drinks like my wife's choice of a Blue Christmas Martini the others at the table ordered wines and beer. Our server Steve is one of the most professional waitpersons we have ever had the privilege of having serve our table of 4. My wife & BIL ordered the OSCAR* with the Charbroiled Salmon topped with Lump Crab & Asparagus and topped finished with a Hollandaise Sauce. My SIL ordered the Crab Cakes these Chef made speciality are loaded with lump crab. I o decided on the Faroe Island Salmon grilled Faroe Island Salmon finished with a Strawberry Glaze and topped with toasted almonds. I found this combination uniquely flavored and I paired it with a Pino Grigio. Our server Steve is one of the most professional waitpersons we have ever had the privilege of having serve our table of 4.

July 17, 2025 Well I…read morehesitate to share this review because their Thursday night Steak night is bonkers already! lol!! I've been to this restaurant numerous times, but it was my first time trying steak night this past Thursday my husbands brother was in town so we thought we would take him to the Mckeansburg Hotel. He was there in the past and ordered scallops. I couldn't stop talking about how delicious they were. We opted to sit at the bar and got prompt and friendly service from the owner bartender, Kevin and our server and I'm very sorry. I did not recall her name but she gave very good service and I know that she was extremely busy even being so busy, she was very efficient and polite . I opted to get the strip steak. It is 9 ounces and I ordered it medium in addition to the strip steak. You also get a soup or salad +2 side dishes and homemade fresh baked bread. I heard through the grapevine that the owner comes in at 3 AM and bakes the bread for the restaurant . It has a very pleasant oniony savory flavor. My steak was cooked to perfection and was only $12.95. My brother-in-law law ordered a steak that had onions and mushrooms and my husband ordered the steak with Cajun seasoning. I believe in a blue cheese crown that he absolutely loved. I think those steaks may have been a couple dollars extra but still the price was phenomenal. I would highly recommend steak night. You should consider making a reservation if you want to sit in the dining room all the board tables were already reserved when we arrived, but luckily we were able to find three seats at the bar, but we also went very early. The Mckeansburg is a charming restaurant in the beautiful countryside and it is a well run business most of the times when I go to Mckeansburg, I tend to order the thin sliced roast beef french dip with their delicious creamy horseradish sauce, but for the same price I could have steak on steak night, so I had to try it! It is their specialty and did not disappoint!! I can see what all the excitement is about. I'll be back to this quaint lovely hotel restaurant soon. It's so homey and inviting. The food and prices can't be beat!

Packed but not in a horribly crowded way and we got our drinks and food in good timing. Food was excellent from potato skins appetizer, village burger, french dip and all the way to the rice pudding dessert which I normally only eat hot but it came cold and was perfect! The entire staff we encountered was very friendly and we will be back!
