This park isn't much on its own, but I think it's incorporated into a fair number of city events, so that's what makes it better. I attended National Night Out this evening and the place had lots of people from the community, first responders, games, businesses, all in and adjacent to the park. They have concerts in the park here and have for years. The park has a lot of seating, and I noticed a monument of sorts that seemed to have plaques that had historical information about, at the very least, the park but perhaps the town itself. It is right in the heart of Uptown Park Ridge, right by the Park Ridge Metra Station, and it faces the city hall. During events parking can be tricky, but I'm not sure what parking looks like on a regular day.

Myself and my son just love the staff, the kids, and the play-based but also perfectly structured programs here so much! Not to mention the awesome park, water fountain in the summer and huge fenced in field attached make it a great place to bring my youngest 1.5 year old to play with his brother, without worrying about cars or people walking on the street nearby. I'm so glad I stumbled upon this park, it has been a truly great experience. I highly recommend!

I call it a "hidden gem". Unless you turn down a side street off the Main Street; you would never know it's there! Nice walking paths. Built in table and chairs throughout. Many nice benches. Very well cared for. Nice children's playground with soft ground area. Places to park your bike. There is a Pavilion area that may be accessible soon, its under construction. This is located in a quiet and nice neighborhood, West of Oak Park Ave. 1/2 block North of Cermak Road. It runs several city blocks that lead to Harlem Avenue. Many places to eat, barber shops, salons, Tony's Large Supermarket nearby, Office Depot, Pet Stores. Very large indoor shopping mall nearby West a few Blocks, North Riverside Mall. With a New Cinema with Full Recliners. Bus stop is on Cermak Road as well.

Incredible yet frustrating…read more Amazing yet terribly upsetting Doesn't make sense does it ? It will. As the south side of Chicago gets gobs of money poured into a library the Pullman area which is a staple and a part of chicagos glorious history gets cleaned up and remodeled one small brick at a time. The streets around the neighborhood with broken cement and sidewalks where the possibility of rolling an ankle is very real should be upsetting to all that live in this neighborhood and those that come to visit it's rich history. Out visit to this history rich wonderful part of Chicago history was utterly amazing and upsetting because as millions and millions of dollars gets poured into a monstrosity the people who are trying to keep their heads above water to revive Pullman fight the good fight every day. I grew up on the north side of Chicago. And when I visited Pullman a sense of pride overtook me for all that came before me to bring Pullman to life. We need to bring it back , so visit the visitors center and the learn about this amazing part of Chicago. Now does the beginning of ing of my review make sense ? It sure does to me. We saw on Facebook that they're running a special free event through December 29, 2025 for a free…read moreevent for lots of arts and crafts and the chance to see some vintage model trains, so I took my dad with me, and we had an absolute blast. Stopping in here has always been on both our bucket lists, and we didn't realize this is actually run by NPS. Once I found that out, you betcha I spent $40 in the gift shop and got a stamp for my national parks passport book. The trains are cool to see, and it's a fun way to spend an hour or so.

Incredible design of this tranquil space with water features; games throughout the park. Frisby Disc... mmm . It's very interesting. Large paths for walking. Nature trees throughout the park. Open abundance of green areas. Tennis courts. Baseball fields. Community vegetable Gardens. Large multi children's modern playground equipment. The dedication benches placed throughout the park for leisure and rest time. They even have an activities building. Check out the signs throughout the park, to see the local Habitat in the Pond. Pets on leashes are fine they even offer waste pick up bags to promote healthy environmental habits. This massive space is yet another wonderful park in Berwyn. Visitors , Be respectful of the. Neighbors as this is a quiet neighborhood community. East of Harlem Avenue. South of Berwyn Public Library. North of Route 66
