If you are visiting Amsterdam and are looking to purchase souvenirs that qualify for VAT back,…read moreavoid Tinkerbell toys. Before I go into depth as to why, I recommend going to Goochem where the customer service was friendlier, more helpful, and most importantly, a place where you will receive the proper documentation to claim VAT back. We reached out to Tinkerbell Toys in advance of our trip to ensure that they had the inventory of Ostheimer toys we wanted and would provide the appropriate documents to claim VAT back. They indicated that they did and so we made a trip to the store to purchase a good amount of Ostheimer animals as Christmas gifts for kids. Upon our departure from Amsterdam, we were denied a customs stamp for the purchase from Tinkerbell Toys because the receipt was not itemized with detailed descriptions of the purchased items. When we returned home, we contacted Tinkerbell toys and spoke with Gerrit, who was surprised we were denied. When he offered no solution, I reiterated my disappointment and displeasure to which he responded with "What do you want me to do?" I replied with a sensible solution: return the tax amount back to us. We felt this was fair since it was the failure on the store's part to follow proper protocol when taking part in the VAT program to provide their foreign customers with the correct documentation for them to receive the money due back to them for the purchases made. I did not receive a reply for 2 days after being in constant contact with him. After following up, I received the following reply: "This is the busiest time of the year and our shop is more important then mails. You act as if I knew that my description on the receipt was not sufficient. That was not the case. I learned that afterwards from the taxfree company. I am very sorry for you but in this case I can not be responsible for you missing the tax refund." We strongly feel the store is at fault because they failed to adhere to the rules and regulations required of a VAT program vendor. At this point, it is all about the principle of the issue. It is no longer about the getting the money back but with how this situation was handled. Not only did they fail to provide proper itemized receipt for VAT back, they did not take accountability for their error. It has been an extremely unpleasant customer service experience. We only hope that this feedback informs potential patrons and also prompts Tinkerbell Toys to take the corrective action to provide proper receipts with detailed descriptions.
Tinkerbell has excellent items for gifts and educational toys for children. There are many boutique…read moreshops in the neighborhood and Tinkerbell is not to be missed! It is the cutest little toy shop. Everything at Tinkerbell is top notch. It is sort of the anti-mega toy store. The toys at Tinkerbell bring it back to the fundamentals. Use your brain and use your imagination. Many of the toys here are simple and made of blocks or are of the scientific type. Learn to build things and learn how the world works. I bought some art cards, post cards, mini music boxes, and some Amsterdam trinkets (a little wooden clog keychain with my initial). They have all sorts of fun stuff from cake and hamburger jewelry rings to ceiling projection lamps that put the night sky in your bedroom. We were pressed for time but one could easily spend more than a half hour at Tinkerbell browsing. It's sort of magical. And don't forget to take a picture with Tinker Bubbles Beer outside! He gets dressed in different outfits depending on the season and holidays! ***** Tinkerbell heeft uitstekende artikelen voor cadeaus en educatief speelgoed voor kinderen. Er zijn vele boetiekjes in de buurt en Tinkerbell is niet te missen! Het is de schattigste kleine speelgoedwinkel. Alles in Tinkerbell is top.

The fist 3 booster packs they were resealed, one of them had 2 code cards and one of the code cards was looking so old, destroyed on the sides also some cards were made of plastic. Pokemon should have all the boosters this way sealed, all the languages versions, so scammers will stops doing this unpleased thing. The owner of the shop or whoever answered the comment i left in google reviews said they don't do that. Well I clearly see his employees are doing this, and he is not aware or himself is doing it. I don't now win anything by leaving this comment, i just had a huge loss. You might have a nice shop with lot of things but when it comes to TCG you are not taking care of your customers and it is really sad. Thanks to us you can function, keep that in mind, and stop scamming tourists, because i was one of them and i regret not checking this booster packs in the shop, that was also my mistake. Now if people wants to believe me is their choice but i said what i had to say.

They don't have fancy fire truck chairs or anything here. There is one simple high chair in front of a circle lit mirror in a very small room at the back of the store. They also have a basket of cars and trucks which happily distracted my little girl, and that became the only way the haircut could be completed. My girl didn't want to sit in the chair or on my lap for more than a minute, so the hairdresser did half the haircut squatting down on the floor to accommodate my toddler's most favored location: driving cars around on the ground. She got the job done with her flexibility, cajoling, and judicious use of 2 banana flavored gummy candies. I also got advice on what products to use on my girl's hair to prevent tangling, how to bring her curls out, and how her hair might change in the future as she grows out of babyhood. She also didn't mind that after all the resistance my little girl put up, she didn't want to leave the salon after her hair was cut. She let her hang out and keep playing on the floor while she cut the hair of her next client. Overall it was a nice experience but next time I think I'll try out Bloem for comparison, since it's much closer to where I live and they have fire truck chairs. While my little girl played on the hair cutting floor, I checked out the rest of the space. There is an upstairs space full of precious onesies and upscale toys and books for babies, a section of dresses and accessories for mothers, and a downstairs area full of dress up costumes, puzzles, games, cars, and other toys for children 3-7 years old. There was a cute dress I saw down there that I wanted to try on because I was pleasantly surprised to see that it was available in size XL, but I didn't want to leave my girl alone longer than necessary. They had a lot of nice presents down there that stimulate childrens' creativity, so they'd make good gifts or would be a nice place to take a small child and let them go crazy. Overall I'd recommend this place if you're looking for something fancy.
