Tiniest of gripes: The online classroom is a bit cluttered and, well, a bit of a circa 2003 website…read more(LOTSA clipart) but I'm a snob for web esthetics. Great interactive options! You could choose to communicate via voice, chat, cursor drawings, and/or webcam. The instructor Bob is very thorough, has a sense of humor, explains every section clearly, and even provides tidbits of info that I did not find in the OLCC manual (e.g., didja know you can spot a counterfeit I.D. if it contains periods after an abbreviation? OR IDs never have punctuation). Taking the OLCC training course online is such a great option for those that live out-of-the-way and the class times offered are at 11am and 6:30pm- perfect for someone whose sleep schedule is on 'bar time' so the impossibility of rolling out of bed and being on site by 9am or whatever, is eradicated.

She is already trying to sound out words and just today was explaining to me what a blend was. She is also extremely social and she has plenty of opportunities for play and interaction with other kids to fill that need. The two teachers she has had have been nothing short of amazing and I have nothing but positive things to say about them. I have recommended this school to countless friends and am planning on enrolling my younger daughter when she is old enough. So grateful this school was recommended to me 2 years ago. Send your children here, you will not be disappointed!

However, the perfect opportunity came to me with The Tech Academy, and I put everything I had into it. I really can't say enough great things about the experience. Great instruction. I learned a lot about a lot of different technologies. I had my ups and downs throughout the six months of the full-time program, but I ultimately walked away having learned and experienced more than I thought I would. I'd recommend this program to anyone who has even the slightest interest in it or passion for technology. You will have to invest a lot of time into it, but if you really want to do well, you will have all the tools, support, and instruction you need--and then some. One of the best educational experiences I've ever had.
