I hate to say this, but…read morewhen I think I Greek food I think greasy lamb plates with the pink sauce (tzakiki or however you spell it)--this is exactly the opposite of what you can expect here! The restaurant has an extensive selection of drinks to choose from as well as appetizers and main courses, desserts and even menus. One of the few Greek places I've seen that serves something purely vegetarian. I ordered the aubergine dish, which was beautifully presented--I think it's been quite a while I've seen a dish so artfully presented. I felt like I was in a Michelin establishment! Not only did it look good but tasted fantastic and was quite filling...although I was wanting dessert I decided to pass (even though it was really hard to say no to all the wonderful desserts they offered). Price made me happy too--20eur per person, which included complimentary bread and olives when arriving, main course and water. O and of course a nice small shot of a sweet wine :) Service was great (English easier for them as well as me!) and atmosphere of the restaurant was wonderful, with it being tastefully decorated. O, and location is perfect, you literally step off the tram and walk right into the place! I hope to be back again!

The welcome is friendly and warm and this went for pretty much the whole of the service. We were served amuse bouche to start the evening which went down well So importantly the food... Well we ordered the squid and taramasalata for starter... Yes original I know, but the basics if done right are a always a good way to judge a resturant. Well the squid was succulent, came with a lentil salad plenty of lemon, but taramasalata was truly excellent. No lurid pink mess, but smokey, fishy and delicious. Main courses of lamb filet, moussaka and a lamb burger were again very flavoursome well presented. We stuck with the house red, which was pleasantly drinkable and a reasonable price. At the end of the meal we were offered a digestive on the house too. Overall a very pleasant and enjoyable place to eat.
