I called about 12 places before getting ahold of this company who was available for same day electric emergencies. Only problem was we were 45 minutes away but for a service fee he assured they'd come out and help with an estimate on how to remove this old dangerous wiring. Help is an understatement! Joe and his new trainee Dan showed up 30 minutes early and gave us all our options. Joe is a straight up guy who genuinely gave us his expert advice and that was to honestly leave it as is. We really appreciated that because he could've done what my mom originally wanted(remove all the wiring) , charged us an arm and a leg, but he stressed how that option was not the safest and how it could be expensive and would majorly effect other rooms and basically gut and re wire the house. After multiple breaker tests, they realized the fridge was pulling power from these old wires and expressed the dangers of this. They offered to move the fridge to a different outlet- talk about above and beyond service. Only then a leak broke out from the fridge being disconnected from a water source. It lead to a pipe bursting lol talk about drama but long story short, they stayed the entire time to ensure things were fixed properly and even put up a new light fixture in the meantime. Thank you thank you thank you Joe and Dan. You guys are the real deal and it's hard to come by people let alone men honest like this nowadays. My mom will be hiring them again for her HVAC next and definitely will have you over for thanksgiving dinner hahaha thank youuuuuu!

I called AHES yesterday morning and spoke with the owner about my gas furnace that died Sunday morning. He and his crew came over in the morning and diagnosed the situation. Turns out my 30 year old furnace burnt out at the circuit board. We discussed pricing on a new furnace and within a few hours, AHES returned to installed a brand new gas furnace. Reasonably prices, professional workmanship and excellent customer service. What I did notice about their synergy was that they were all having fun doing their job! Joe explained everything and answered all my questions. I am hiring his crew to return for additional work that I need on my home: electrical outlet upgrades, new generator, and next spring, I'm having AHE install an a/c system in the furnace. I have worked with a number of other HVAC companies in the Conneaut area and as far as I am concerned, I can tell you that AHE is the most honest, most reliable and most professional HVAC/Electrical company in the Ashtabula area. I highly recommend them. Contact: 440-344-4093 Web site: https://advancedhvac.org/about

I got the quote the same day. I already had 240 service in the garage, but I wanted the charger in a location that required installing additional wiring. They thoughtfully and carefully ran the wiring up through a storage space above the garage and minimized the amount of visible cable in the garage. The charger they provided is a highly rated Emporia. The two guys Matthew put on the job were Jonathan and Jay. They were polite and knowledgeable. They took the time to ask questions and gave updates as they completed the work. They cleaned up afterwards. They finished the job in about a half day. They provided professional level service and clearly enjoyed what they were doing. I am extremely happy with the work they did. I'm also happy with the price I paid for this product and service. Matthew and his crew deserve 5 stars. Before I retired, I was a professional buyer in manufacturing and also ran Supply Chain organizations within those companies. I keep a spreadsheet of approved contractors. It has 3 tabs. To Try, Approved, and Do Not Use. Matthew is in the Approved category and it's well deserved, well earned. I will be using them again for future electrical work.

I paid $1154 for 2 electricians to take 5 hours to install a single 240 watt outlet for a new electric stove. The house electrical box was new w/ plenty of space for the new electric stove, the line path to the kitchen wall in the basement was clear and this dynamic duo only had to drill up 1 floor to install the 240 watt outlet. 5 hours. AND the ironic part, even after the lead electrician asked me what type of stove was to be installed so he could put in the correct outlet, he did zero research and installed the wrong outlet. The company had to come back and install the correct outlet. I paid for incompetence and greed. I have to give 1 review star b/c there is not an option for a 5 star BAD review.

Fast work, but zero professionalism and a refusal to communicate…read more I hired C. Carlin to clear a kitchen clog. While the drain was snaked, the overall experience was a failure in customer service, safety protocol, and basic accountability. The Issues: Safety & Scheduling: I scheduled a 3:00 PM appointment and adjusted my entire workday to ensure I was home. I arrived at 2:55 PM, only to find the crew had already finished and left. They arrived early and entered my home while only my underage son was present. No courtesy call was made to indicate they were ahead of schedule, let alone to ask if it was okay to enter the home without an adult present. When I raised this concern, the office manager told me I should "take responsibility" for my son not announcing he was a minor. It is standard professional practice NOT to enter a home without an adult present. Preventative Care Denied: Because they finished and left before the scheduled time, I missed the opportunity to discuss my concerns regarding my main house trap. Given past basement flooding, I wanted to ensure kitchen debris didn't cause a secondary blockage. I would have gladly paid for an extra 10 minutes of work, but they were gone. My later request for them to return and "finish the job" with a proper consultation was denied. Hostile Customer Service: Every phone interaction was aggressive. The office manager used "being extremely busy" as an excuse for their lack of communication, yet they were flexible scheduling my appointment time when taking my $175. She was more interested in pushing an upsell for a $10/month subscription maintenance program than addressing the fact that her crew left a mess of water and debris on my floor (no shoe covers used). Lack of Leadership/Access: When I requested to speak with the owner to discuss these lapses, I was told quite abruptly, "Well, that's never gonna happen! We don't do that here!" This interaction made it clear that despite the family name, the business is no longer operated with a "family-owned" level of accountability. Customers are shielded from leadership, and valid concerns are met with denial rather than solutions. The Bottom Line: They are efficient at a 10-minute "quick fix," but they charge premium prices ($175) for the bare minimum. If you want a company that respects your schedule, your home, and basic safety boundaries, look elsewhere.
