Sonny's Glass Tinting sucks…read more I know plenty of people who have gotten their windows tinted "darker" than they should. I show up and ask a few questions. "Nope, we don't do that. 35% is as low as we go." Alright, make sure you go sit on a bowling pin and spin. They wanted $200 for all windows + rear. I ended up going down to North Carolina (when I moved there) and got it done for $120 for 20% all around. Guess what? 5 years later and my tint still looks good. No tickets, no failed inspections, no hassle. Sonny's, can you please just close up shop? You suck! Edit: I hurt the feelings of the company I reviewed. Boo-hoo. $185 for all around is a ripoff when many other companies can do the same work for $125-150. I review anything I want, so when I remember an experience with a lousy company.....I'll review it. Just like I reviewed this joke of a business.

I had to run a few errands that afternoon so I agreed to leave him a check in a location where he could retrieve it if I were not home before the job was complete. Minutes after I left, I received a Ring notification for motion detected in the area where I had placed the check. I immediately turned the car around and went home to find that he had stopped working and that the check was gone. I texted him immediately and he promised he would be back to go over the areas that I was unhappy about. I explicitly told him that he did not have authorization to cash that check until the work was complete. He agreed. I had an uneasy feeling about things at this point so I called my bank and requested that they put a temporary hold on the check. Less than an hour later, my bank called me to notify me that the check had been presented for cash but that they declined the transaction. Later that afternoon, I was startled by someone loudly banging on our front door. It was a young man (not Zachary) who was screaming at me because of the hold on the check. He told me that the job was done and that I needed to pay. He got very close to my face and was aggressively yelling and swearing. I told him to get off my property immediately or I'd be calling the police. I reminded him that he was being filmed by our security cameras. He left. I texted Zachary and told him that if anyone from his "company" stepped foot on my property again, I would consider it trespassing. My story is a bit different in that I decided not to pursue tinting for my home. Regrettably, I had…read moregotten a quote from a different tinting company, which included the application of a sample tint to one of my windows. When I decided that I preferred no tinting, the unnamed company wanted to charge me $350 to remove their sample! I reached out to Rick at Eastern Glass Tinting and offered to pay them this amount to remove the sample tint, just so I wouldn't have to deal with the other company. Rick was so appalled by their lack of professionalism that he did it for free. That's right - in his spare time he came to our home and removed the other company's tint, at no charge, just because that's how you do good business. Thank you. I hope that folks see this review and your good deed comes back to you in greater portions.

You have to call and book an appointment, you can't just show up. But I was in the area so I stopped by then called. Within 25 minutes he showed up, brought my car in, and within about 10 more minutes my tint job was done. I only needed my front windows done but he matched them PERFECTLY with the other windows. It looks like it came factory direct. If you need your car windows, home windows, or your business windows tinted then give this place a call! You will not be dissapointed.
