Tried to make an appointment and filled out their questionnaire…read more I am a senior and told them honestly of health issues I have and wanted help with. It's been 5 days now and no response. I can only assume they don't want any elderly with health issues and that they aren't interested in helping me. I wouldn't recommend a business such as this. Very disappointed. Wish it was possible to not award any stars at all!

She told me about her location and mentioned her use of 100% vegan products in her massage practise. I recently had an injury with my back and so called her the following day for an appointment, that we scheduled later in the day. Her home and office is located just off the 417 on Maitland Avenue. It was very easy to find. I entered her office around the back, and I can say that her space is very clean, calming, quiet, sanitary, and neat. I filled out a medical history form and detailed my injury to her. Her massage table was extraordinarily comfortable and she had a heating pad that she placed over my legs, which felt divine! What I particularly liked about the massage was the way in which Melanie communicated with me through out the hour, checking in every so often to be sure I was getting the most out of the experience. When the massage was complete, she showed me how to do some stretches that would be compatible with my injury. She is a very sweet and professional person who really takes care in her practise and loves what she does. I would most definitely revisit Melanie and I would strongly recommend her if you are looking for some relaxation or healing. Her prices are VERY reasonable for the services she provides.

Her home is right on Maitland ave, and there is parking on the driveway. Her main office is in the basement of the house. The room and table were very clean. She had some great relaxation music on. The massage itself was really good. She constantly kept checking with me if the pressure was fine throughout the session. She used a heating pad for the legs while she was working the upper body, which felt amazing. I believe she used sunflower oil/cream for the massage. Overall, Melanie is a great therapist. I will definitely go back to her.

I know some people…read moreare weirder out at the thoughts of someone else touching them, but head to Lucy at Hands On Health and your life will never be the same. I started visiting Lucy when she worked at the Woodroffe Chiropractic Clinic, due to severe migraines and an old cheerleading injury (you can stop laughing now...some "tiny" girl fell on my neck!). In addition to be super sweet and kind, she is really skilled at what she does. She made getting through life that much easier. Lucy moved to Hands on Health a few years ago, and I really like vising this place. Their location is in Centrepointe, in what looks like a row of nice, new town homes, but is actually a group of small businesses. They're office is located in the downstairs portion of one of the town homes, and is stunningly decorated (they sued to have teh designers card there, but I can't remember her name!) to make you feel relaxed and calm. I've never visited any of the other practitioners, but I've spoken to a few of them and they're delightful. They really care about the clients (Lucy remembers things I told her years ago, and always asks about loved ones and goals I've mentioned) and client satisfaction is really important to them. After being diagnosed with a chronic pain condition a few years back, Lucy helped even more, with stretching techniques, relaxation tips and deep tissue massage. The staff also offers services like hot stone therapy, Reiki, pregnancy and infant massage, myofascial release and tons more. check them out if you're in pain, or just need to relax. If you're lucky enough to get in to see Lucy, you'll also gain a confidant and a lovely new friend.
