Let's just say it. I'm going to say it. Are you ready? This is THE best massage I've ever had…read more I have had MANY massages throughout my adult life...at resorts in Mexico, Jamaica, DR (OK that one was REALLY good), and all through the US in many fabulous cities. But here I am saying it....I went back to my little hometown and received a LIFE CHANGING massage. I will be going again in a couple of weeks....probably every four to keep me in shape. I have been having INCREDIBLE AWFUL back pain, with upper shoulder pain and spiraling into my lower back, bicep and down my side into my butt. It has NOT been fun. It's hard to sleep and even sit at my desk. I was crying last Friday afternoon and missed some classes due to this pain. I called my dad and he said "I'm not telling you again. Go see Amber." Wellllll....she got me in right away, we talked about my ailments, mostly caused by stress....and she worked me out. She gave me a full body deep tissue with hot rock massage, concentrating on the areas of significant pain, though not causing MORE pain. She advised on some stretches and even sat me up and stretched me out by standing behind me and pulling up and out on my arms and shoulders. She admitted that she "didn't quite get it all" but she really did make such a difference in my life. It was also affordable - $65 (cash only) for the appointment. The advice and experience didn't "end" after she gave me the massage. She advised me to buy apple cider vinegar and told me to bathe in THAT night. She said it would bring those toxins she worked out up and out of my body so they would not settle back in and in about two days I'd feel new again. I promise you, literally almost two days later exactly I felt new. I am still a bit sore....but I think it's b/c I need a bit more work. Well worth my drive to good ole Elwood! I mean, I cannot wait to go back. I'm considering making an appointment this week. Amber is a genius with her hands....and her post-massage advice. She understands muscles, pain inducing life troubles and stress in the neck, head, spine, legs, arms, etc. etc. etc. I was truly impressed. She is IN TUNE to the human body. Her little spa is right on the corner of 11th and Main in Elwood. It's an older home that you may confuse for someone's actual house but it's her office. She is incredible and I highly recommend a trip to see her if you have a kink you cannot get out. Also - she gives you $10 off your first appointment. Who doesn't love a sweet deal to give something a try just once?

I wanted to let you know that Audrea Jackson did an incredible job today on my husband and me. We…read moreeach had the 2 hour massage custom tailored to ourselves, and Audi helped us feel so much better in day one! We are both coming back in two weeks and we are factoring our Audi time into our regular budget. My husband has back problems and I have hip problems, and Audi has that highly skilled and incredibly effective touch. I love her professionalism and my hubby loves that he finally found a masseur which does not leave him feeling obligated to make small talk. I am much more direct in letting people know what I like and my husband is much less likely to mention what he would like or would not like. This is why Audi is such a rare gem in this business. Plus, it is always amazing to interact with a person that absolutely loves what she does for a living. This is rare to find in a masseur as well. I cannot say enough about how amazing of a find Audi really is to us; especially moving here to Kokomo after living all over the world and in several large US cities as well. She is the best masseur my husband and I have ever had the pleasure to encounter.

I want to start by saying that everyone here was very friendly and welcoming. I asked for a gel…read moremani and pedi. Pedicure was great. There is only 1 nail tech (Carrie) so I felt more safe being one on one than in a salon with a dozen chairs side by side. She did a wonderful job with the pedi. My gel manicure didn't turn out the greatest. It looked ok when I left, but later noticed that the gel is so thin you can actually see light coming through the dark color on the nail. It also scratches easily. I've been getting gel mani's for years and have never had them scratch/show wear like this before. I believe it was a product issue. The cost was $85 for both, which I found to be fairly steep.

Why I love her: I get really antsy and claustrophobic at lash apts and it's always been super chill with her. I squirm around and my eyes twitches like crazy and she still works with me. Also, my eyes NEVER burns with her and I can't even close my eyes all the way but she's able to work magic with her hands. Like I said in my previous post I had LASIK, so I need to protect my eyeballs. Hygiene: Top notch they have a machine to read your temperature and to make sure you have a mask. Super high tech. Saw first hand Tori wiping down the bed and sanitizing the room and tools. Must needed during this time. I feel safe at ease and with a friend here. Picture below is hybrid - super fluffy
