He called me when he was on the way and was the nicest person to deal with. So refreshing these days when most people are just miserable! Luckily the over was only 6" below the surface and in no time Larry had it opened. Not a pretty picture since we hadn't had it cleaned in over fifteen years! Before I moved in, Josh went through the whole house with me and showed me how to work all the appliances and left me with a large binder with additional information and warranties on the appliances. In the past year, I've had three visits with Michael who came to see if I had encountered any problems. There were only a couple of things that needed to be addressed and they were taken care of promptly. I've already talked to my friends about what a good homebuilder Elliott Homes is and I would recommend them to anyone. I still experience great pleasure when I walk through my house and see the quality workmanship and the tasteful lighting and cabinetry. It is good to know that you can still get good value for your money.

Poor quality, no insulation, horrible customer service, and the plumbing sounds as if it's going to explode every time you flush a toilet?! There are cracks in the poured concrete on the front porch, back patio and garage; some of them quite large. The lock on the front steel door has broken for the second time now--this time locking us outside late at night?! The kitchen appliances are super cheap --handle broke off the oven door and fridge drawer handles broke-- and there was no real thought given to the design. Specifically, there is no linen closet in a four-bed home and the kitchen pantry is a small closet with 4 shelves--not even a walk-in?! We keep losing shingles off the roof and the caulk is pretty-much now non-existent around all the toilets and sinks. I've lived in 60+ year old homes that were better built. I would NEVER buy another Elliott Home and I certainly won't be recommending them to ANYONE. Buyers beware!!
