While perusing the dispensary, I saw their list of deals - each day has a different special, and the week's are posted in the store (and apparently online). My friend was happy with what they purchased, and the price. My understanding is medical card holders get a flat 30% off. Granted, it's not as good as at a medical dispensary, but it's definitely better than nothing. The only downside to Vertical is the parking. If you're coming from the south, it's best to park before the dispensary in the auxiliary parking by the Masonic Lodge (as the next door parking doesn't allow for left turns).

If a cart is on sale for $28, regular price $40, they charge tax based on the $40.. you're paying almost an extra $5... sounds like no big deal, but taxes in Illinois are ridiculous as it is, now these clowns are gonna stick you again? It's BS, that extra money goes to them... they pay the IRS based on the selling price... Shop somewhere else!

This place was great for a while but recently not so great . Have gone there twice in recent weeks…read moreand the place was not open . Most recently today 11/16/2023 at 11:00 am . Store hours are 9 to 9 or 9 to 10. Also i tried calling and got no answer , and a recording stating that the mail box was full . It looks like from looking through the window that they changed there stock and now is mostly a head shop and not so much a vape shop anymore . It seems like it's hit or miss if this place is open from day to day now . This is really to bad because i really liked the place before . Not so much now !! If the store hours are supposed to be from the hours stated on their wed site and on their door then it should be open those hours ! Hopefully this isn't another business in Fox lake that is there for a few years and then goes out of business .

They distributed advertising leaflets in downtown stores. The leaflets said they were now open. I'm from out town, out of state. Everything else I wanted to do was walking distance. I drove to the location, no sign, no information, and a rude fellow inside had no information on any dispensary even though he was setting up for the incoming business. There are always hiccups for new businesses but this is not a promising start, customer respect wise. And the field, marijuana dispensaries, is full of very good customer service, most of them are very informative from their very starts.
