This place is located down two side streets with apartments on both sides and the left down to a…read moredead end where the walkway is to the restaurant. While several people rated this place with 5 stars my wife and I are thinking that people from the former East Germany have a lower standard. I ordered the Schweine Schnitzel which I could hear them pounding back in the kitchen which is a great sign. So, the Schnitzel was very fresh and very good. It was the fat Pommes (industrial french fries) and frozen mixed vegetables that were a disappointment! My wife ordered the chicken salad which she really liked. So, just beware what you order and enjoy this hidden place!

Schöne Lage am Kulkwitzer See, wunderschöner Freisitz für laue Sommerabende (teilweise sogar überdacht) und ja noch ein bissel DDR Flair (find ich gut). Aber das größte lob gilt dem Küchenchef. Die Qualität der angebotenen Speißen ist absolut TOP und liegt deutlich über der einer DDR- Strandkneipe. Leider ist das Arg.Steak nicht eher auf der Karte. An Personal und Geschwindigkeit bei der Bedienung kann ICH auch nix beanstanden - auch wenn andere da gelegentlich nicht zufrieden waren. Fazit: gerne wieder! read more
