Our visit started off very pleasant. We started out with the appetizers, and complimented the…read morewaiter that we enjoyed them. Upon receiving our mains, we told the waiter that our brown pasta was way undercooked and another pasta was not very flavorful. Instead of the waiter accommodating and welcoming our comments, he broke into a tantrum and a fit about how we should not come back here if we don't like the food and that this is how they make the food and he will not change the way they cook for us. He started yelling about the truffles and that he is italian and knows how it should be. To be honest their home made spaghetti was closer to udon noodles, and their pesto sauce was not a pesto rather an infused oil. We paid our bill and left, and will surely never return there - not because of our bad experience with the food, but because of the very angry and aggressive attitude and energy. People can have bad cook days, but an aggressive attitude is not acceptable.

With a very German-looking interior (low ceilings, lots of stuff on the walls to look at), a menu including some traditional German dishes and interesting specials, and a nice wine selection (including good local wines); this restaurant is perfect for a nice dinner with your significant other or a few good friends. I do not recommend bringing little kids as the tables are small and intimate and the general atmosphere is mature. Parking is a bit of a nightmare, it's better to park further away and walk to the restaurant than to try and navigate the very narrow cobble streets closer to the restaurant.
