They made an appointment for him the same day within the hour! I've never been able to get an appointment that quickly with my own dentist. They are true their claim that emergencies are seen the same day, even if you're not a regular patient. My dad ended up needing a root canal and he said Dr. Schmitt did a great job. He went back for a follow up in a week and Dr. Schmitt was very knowledgeable and able to answer all his questions. Highly recommended practice if you're in the market for a new dentist!

I call other dental practices and they make new patients wait months sometimes, regardless of pain or the situation. But I could tell from my daughters first appt that we have finally found a practice we can stay with. I was extremely impressed by the friendliness of the staff, the comfort of the waiting room and the efficiency and level of care my daughter received. She had some anxiety from a bad experience at a previous dentist and was immediately put at ease here. She left with a smile on her face. I was back last week with my other daughter and again same scenario. I was impressed with the entire office and experience. The hygienist was wonderful with my daughter and I really liked Dr Brad and the amount of time he took answering questions we had especially since it was a little more of orthodontics questions than dental since my daughter was switched from braces to Invisalign recently. However he was happy to answer any questions because he said his main concern was my daughter having the best smile possible. That says a lot to me when a dr will take extra time and not make you feel rushed or like you are bothering them. It was important to me to find a practice that is family run and so I am very happy to find that with Drs Burau! I would recommend Drs Burau to anyone I know looking for a great dental experience. Every time I go in for a cleaning, we're all told we need our wisdom teeth extracted. I was told by a close family friend who use to be my dentist, but retired years ago to never trust a Dentist that told me I needed my wisdom teeth out if they're not causing me any problems. Not only for good advice for everyone, but myself specifically because my wisdom teeth are sideways inside my jaw bone, which would need major surgery and a waste. But every 6 months, like clockwork, they tell me I need all 4 out ASAP! The new office manager sits on his phone at the front desk and appears to be uninterested in life period. The new female Dentist could care less about what's going on with someone's mouth. The place has gone down dramatically the past two years. I will be switching insurance my next open enrollment period so that I no longer have to deal with this company.

First red flag, they would not allow me to go back with my 5 year old very nervous daughter. I have always gone back with my kids and we have always had a great experience. After listening to my daughter cry while 3 of them worked to take her X-rays I couldn't sit in the waiting room any longer. My intention was to go back and help calm her down and support her. The hygienist stated we can't have you back here and stood between my daughter and I. She explained that it took 3 of them to do her X-rays. I told her that if you would have taken one minute to play with her and show her things this all could have been avoided. She then told me that we would need to reschedule when "I" have calmed down. I moved past her to my daughter and told her we wouldn't be back. Do Not bring children to this office! I now understand why they have so many available appointments. Such a disappointing experience for my daughter.
