Karla is an amazing groomer! Highly recommend her, she's always quick to answer a text and will text you 10 minutes before it's time to pick up your dog! My dog used to cry before I would leave him at petco to groom so I searched for a new groomer and I haven't had any issues with Karla and my dog seems happier to get his monthly trim.

Our Cookie is not even a year old yet and this was her first haircut. She is VERY energetic and I can only emagine how she must of been fighting putting up a fight the whole time. With that being said she did an amazing job with her and the cute little bows was a very nice touch. She smelled so nice afterwards also! Definitely recommend! read more

I have been coming to Karla for about a year and a half or so. I am so grateful to have found her! My dog can be very anxious -- I've even been told my groomers "don't bring her on a weekend, she's too much to handle". Which is sad because she is such a sweet dog, so that must mean those other groomers weren't able to work with her and calm her down. With Karla, it's a completely different experience! She gets one on one attention - she's not kenneled for half of the day waiting her turn. When I pick her up, after only an hour an a half - she is calm and happy. It has completely de stressed my nerves when it comes to getting her groomed. Both me and her are very happy customers of Karla and hope to keep coming to her for a long time! read more

This is our third time going to Karla and she always does a great job with our little Emma who used to get scared going into PetSmart but going in with Karla she is so calm. This is the 3rd time that I've used Karla to groom Chingky, my 4 yr old, Shih Tzu. Prior to this, I have been using PetSmart for my grooming needs. She is economical in comparison with PetSmart and I feel that I get a more personalize service with her. And I know that I'm getting the same person. . .everytime. Karla took care of our malinois Barkley. He came home brushed feeling soft and clean. Services included were ear and teeth cleaning along with nail trim. We usually use Petco but I think we will be going back to Karla as long as she is in business. I recommend her to anyone in the area and be sure to tip! Karla is awesome!! Our dog is hyper, territorial & anxious. She always comes home frantic, exhausted and dehydrated after spending 4-6 hours away from the house. I had her groomed yesterday & she was only gone 2 hours & she did an excellent job! She smelled good, the cut was perfect, she had cute little bows in, it was reasonably priced and close to home, I will definitely be taking her back again. I was hoping to leave a good review about my dog being groomed by Karla but that didn't happen. I contacted her on 6/14 about having my dog groomed, she responded right away and let me know what her services include and pricing but she needed to see a picture of my dog first. I let her know I would send her a current picture later in in the day. When I did send her a photo I never got a response. I didn't think anything of it I figured she's busy with her day. So I contacted her the following day on 6/15 If she saw the photo of my dog and if I can schedule an appointment but I still have not gotten a response. I was really hoping to get my dog groomed with her since My dog had a bad experience getting groomed at petsmart. I thought this would've been my go to groomer for my dog since she has such great reviews with my dog being hyper and anxious and all. I'm still hoping she responds eventually. read more

I was looking for pet groomers for my dog. They were kinda pricey. I continued to look for local groomers and found Karla. She responded quickly and gave me a really good deal on bath, grooming, nail clipping, ear cleaning, and teeth cleaning. I took my dog here for his first grooming session and it took about an hour and a half. Karla will text you 15 minutes prior to finishing. My dog looks so wonderful and smells so good. Yesterday I took my 2 dogs to the groomers for the first time & let me tell you I'm so happy on how amazing they looked. I reached out to Karla several days ago & made an appointment she told me how everything would go as far as process etc. she would call me to pick up my dogs when they're ready and they looked so happy when I got them. Not only did they look super clean but their hair was super soft & one of them even had cute little bows. When I picked them up they weren't shaking or scared they were very calm & happy. Asked for grooming prices and she asked for a picture so I sent one but then she just never responded. A response at least saying she didn't want to groom my dog versus being ignored would have been better. I waited a while before deciding to contact a different groomer. read more

Karla is the best groomer ever. Okay, so not only is she super talented, she is patient and kind and loving to the dog and to the owner. I haden't been having the best experiences with groomers lately until God sent me Karla and wow, she certainly is a God send. Not only is she reasonably priced, she is as quality as they come. Other groomers can try to take advantage of people and keep them locked up in cages for 4 hours, not Karla. She is the best at what she does. I have been to tons of local groomers and there is nothing else that compares. I thank God so much for sending her to me. I love her so much. I almost selfishly didn't want to write this review because I want her all to myself but I realize that she deserves the public recognition for her outstanding work. My dog came back happy, refreshed, and with perfect hair. I also came home in good spirits, knowing that there are really wonderful people in the world that excel at their job. We recently adopted a cockapoo and I was looking for a really good yet reasonable priced groomer. Those two things put together are extremely difficult to find, normally you have to pick one or the other. Thankfully, we picked Karla and she provided both. Karla is very kind and you can tell she really loves dogs. The price is AMAZING and the service is personalized to your animal. Another huge benefit, it took only an hour and a half before our dog was ready for pick up. Great job and we will definitely be going back again. We found our forever groomer!! read more

We've been going to that other "smart" store for over five years to have our dog's nails trimmed…read more Ever since, they've told us that we can just walk in and they will do the trim. The most we've ever had to wait is about 15 to 20 minutes. Today, was no different, walked in at 10:15a, let them know that we needed a nail trim, the associate said that the earliest they can get us in was not till 12 PM without an appointment. An appointment? I explained to them that in the five years we've been going to them for nail grinds (which is pretty frequent) we've never had to make an appointment. That's when she said that making appointment has always been in place. So, I walked out, came over to The Good Dog. The General Manager greeted us, even while working with another customer. Listening how he handled the other two customers in front of us (who appeared to be regulars) set the tone that this is a friendly place that we want to be a part of. You know, it's like "Cheers," you wanna go where everyone knows your name! Well, they were able to get us in right away. They advised we typically do not need to make an appointment for nail grind, but to simply call up to make sure they are not busy at the moment, otherwise can get in quickly. I think that's reasonable, fair enough AND smart! "Thanks, Good Dog!"

They offered medical wipes for my dog's injury and a complete re-grooming with a different groomer. I chose not to continue patronage, but the offer and continued open communication was very appreciated. Original Review: This is the first time I've been to this location and decided to go here due to the large number of good reviews. They were able to fit my appointment in very last minute, less than 24hrs notice, super friendly staff, and lots of merchandise. Also great cut options avaliable for someone new, trying to figure out what a new groomer can do with a new client. Asked them to brush his teeth and grind his nails, to which they accomplished (at least his breath smells better). With that said, I was told they would contact me 20 minutes before he's ready for pickup, they did not. They messaged me when he was done. No big deal. When I picked him up, immediately noticed the uneven cut job. As we're driving home, noticed A BUNCH of dirt left in his coat. Makes me question if they bathed him, and if they did, they didnt do a good thorough job. Also started to notice the uneven cut throughout his body, from his stomach where they left bunches of fur, to his back, which seemed as though they used two sizes for razors. They cut him (most likely by accident) but just reinforces my suspicion that they rushed through his entire "grooming". For the $100 package, counting $15 for dental/nail grinding, I can't say I'm not disappointed. Unfortunately, will not be coming back. Sincerely disappointed :( I will have to bathe him again, give him a complete haircut, and finish areas they didnt even attempt too, such as the hair under his nose going into his mouth.

The groomers name was Kaitlyn who did her and she did a great job. Very friendly, got Skye's undercoat out, and gave me a recommendation for which brush I should buy for inbetween grooms. This is definitely a great place and I highly recommend it for a professional groom or a self wash!

None could find anything other than a plugged tear duct. Benny finally got so dehydrated that I brought him to the emergency room at Inland Valley Veterinary Specialists. The doctor there that night, Dr. Jeffrey Patlogar, examined him and immediately suspected a tumor behind the left eye. He recommended an ophthalmologist, who ordered a CT scan, which indeed showed the tumor. Dr. Patlogar knew it was most likely a lymphoma, and started prednisone and L-asparaginase while waiting for an oncologist to see Benny. The oncologist concurred completely with Dr. Patlogar's assessment and treatment. Because of his timely decisions, Benny survived long enough to get radiation therapy. He has been back to his old self since. I am amazed at, and very grateful for, Dr. Patlogar's clinical expertise. He basically saved Benny. Furthermore, everyone at IVVS from the receptionists to the nurses consistently showed compassion and attention to my cat and me. If and when Benny gets sick again, we will be coming back to this ER.

They checked his vitals, but we didn't pursue extensive diagnostics. Instead, he spoke candidly about what he was seeing--neurologically, Baxter was not himself and had clearly lost significant muscle mass. At his age, there was likely more going on than one treatable issue. The veterinarian could have easily recommended a long list of tests. Instead, he gave me real guidance. When I asked what he would do if it were his own dog, he told me he would choose euthanasia at this stage, explaining that "a day or a week too early is better than a day too late" to avoid unnecessary suffering. I had been struggling with this decision for a while, and that honesty helped me feel confident I was doing the right thing. It meant everything. Once I made the decision, the compassion from the staff was incredible. They handled everything with such care, dignity, and kindness. I've also been here before when Baxter was first diagnosed with heart failure, and had the same experience. The veterinarian literally told me it wasn't an emergency and that I could either proceed with treatment there or follow up with my regular vet the next day and save the cost of emergency care. That level of transparency really stuck with me. I'm truly grateful for this team and this office. Asked for a prescription fill on the phone and was told to upload the hard copies provided unto Chewy, but once I informed them it wasn't acceptable due to pharmacy regulations I was met with a dismissive tone and attitude. Not the kind of treatment you want when going to a facility to tend to your pets at their lowest times. The front staff member, Erica, insisted it was approved already. I asked if it was actually approved electronically and that's when she paused and went to check. Maybe check before answering so confidently? I even told them in the exam room that I would be sending the prescription request over to the office before leaving. She could have simply told me kindly she will let the doctor know as soon as she's free instead of rudely claiming how they are super busy and they'll get to it when they get to it. I would have had much more respect with that response. I'm a healthcare provider and would NEVER come off that dismissive to a patient of mine. Especially for such a simple matter. Most recently, I brought my cat in for an eye issue and was quoted over $600 for an exam, sedation, tests, and medication. The price immediately felt extremely high, especially for an eye infection, so I decided to call another veterinary clinic to compare. The other clinic examined both of my cat's eyes, and the total cost came out to under $120 including medication. They also determined that sedation was not necessary at all. My cat was calm, friendly, and even purring during the exam, which made me question why sedation was being pushed so strongly at the first clinic. This clinic does not allow pet owners to accompany their animals due to "safety protocols," so it left me wondering how my cat was being handled during the visit. Another frustrating part of the experience is that you don't actually speak directly with the doctor. All communication goes through the technician, who goes back and forth between you and the doctor. As a pet owner, I would much rather speak directly with the veterinarian responsible for my pet's care, instead of receiving information through a middle person. At the other clinic, the doctor was with me during the entire exam, explaining everything step by step, which felt much more transparent and reassuring. What also shocked me was that they mentioned charging a fee for each CPR attempt in case of an emergency. As a worried pet owner, hearing about additional charges like that felt extremely discouraging and overwhelming. Isn't the priority supposed to be protecting the life of the animal under their care? This unfortunately isn't my first bad experience here. During a previous visit, my cat needed a cast. After the procedure, she was still sedated and very sleepy, and the cast fell off immediately after we got home. She had barely moved, so it clearly wasn't my fault or my cat's fault. I called the clinic hoping they would fix it since it appeared to be an issue with how the cast was applied, but they charged me again to redo it. At the time I didn't push for a refund because my cat's wellbeing came first. Looking back now after this second experience, I truly feel I deserve a refund for that cast, since the issue was not caused by anything I did or by my cat. I do want to say that the front desk staff have always been kind and supportive, and I appreciate them. However, overall my experiences with this clinic have been very disappointing. I care deeply about my cat and want a veterinary office that is honest, transparent, and focused on the animal's wellbeing, not adding unnecessary services that dramatically increase the bill. There are other veterinary clinics in the area that provide great care without making pet owners feel this way. I strongly encourage others to seek a second opinion before committing to treatment here.

I tried out Karla's today. I loved it! I found her on Craigslist. She used to be a dog groomer at Petsmart and started her own salon in her home. She saved me $20-$30 off what I spend at Petsmart. She was cheaper than any other place I called so I was hesitate. I had the best experience. i dropped off my Bichon Frise/Maltese mix. She had been at Grandpa's and was kept in the backyard. She was matted and had fleas (I didn't know) and she just needed a lot of help! Karla was friendly and welcoming. She took great care of my unrecognizable dog! When I came back 2 hours later, Karla was taking her on a walk for a potty break. She let me know about the fleas and she had used a special shampoo on her. My dog was my baby again! She had pink bows and was so happy! You could see she had a great experience! Karla didn't have additional hidden fees and didn't charge me extra for the fleas or mats. I have a shih tzu and I have taken him to many different places. Some were too much $$ and others took 4-6 hours. I hate leaving Gizmo too long at those places so I had to find something else. I did lots of homework and I found Karla. She was very well priced and very nice. I met her kelibug and Gizmo fell in love.Gizmo was done in 1 1/2 hours or so.
