He gave me a price that was flat rate and VERY reasonable. Didn't need to set appt to come (days later) to give an estimated (over-priced) bid. (All via yelp msging) I told him I was going to buy new Rheem water heater at Home Depot. A problem came up with a stopped up toilet... several yelp plumbers responded and KLc said they could Come on the same day...which they did. The cost was a bit high, but they Strongly suggested that I get a second opinion. I decided to have them do the work Which they did and everything is working fine. I believe that the drain is working much better than before and the toilet functions fine. On Friday night I noticed I was not getting any hot water. I pout in a request on Yelp for a hot water repair and Sammy from KLC responded right away. In conversing with Sammy i hired him for the job. He came out on Saturday and looked at my hot water heater and it was leaking, just worn out and needing to be replaced. He explained to me what needed to be done, and replaced. I gave him the go ahead. Sammy also called my home warrenty and explainr=ed to them what he found and what needed to be replaced. He came Sunday with the new heater, after having his supplier open up so he could pick up the new water heater and other needed items. He was hear by 9am and finished by noon-1pm. I was actually happy with Sammy of KLC, he was helpful, answered questions, and then offered me a good price on a new A/C unit. I paid him by credit card, at my kitchen table, signed on his tablet, and he said he would send me the paperwork. A few days went by, and I emailed asking about the paperwork, and was told it was on its way. Never got it. What I did get was an overcharge of $270 on my credit card, which I am unable to dispute because he never sent an invoice. If you decide to use this company, don't hand over your credit card until you carefully read (and receive a copy) of the invoice. read more

Kyle is the owner of this company. I have a printed invoice from the previous installer clearly showing that they are the ones who installed the brand new TRANE unit that currently has a cracked evaporator coil. Kyle will inform you that, since he has no proof showing who originally installed your unit, he can not honor the labor warranty of the replacement unit he puts in...even if you have proof to show him about the original installer. TRANE told me that they will pay for the replacement part as long as I show them that I have already paid the installer and that the original installer does not have to be the one to do the replacement. Kyle's concern tonight was for me to keep my mouth shut while he talks and then tell me that I am being rude and disrespectful if I don't do as he instructs me to. What he doesn't know is that I have already been in contact with TRANE and they have already given me the information I need to get the replacement installed. Kyle told me that if I don't do as he says I will be stuck paying what other installers are charging because I am not doing as he says. He also told me that he is saving me thousands of dollars and since I am not doing as he instructed and disrespecting him in front of his daughter, that he isn't going to help me. Kyle has a GOD complex and I have no idea why he's telling me something different than what TRANE has already told me. The situation with the original installer is already in a bad place. Hiring Kyle with knowledge that he isn't going to honor his labor warranty makes the situation worse. The previous installer made similar statements Kyle made about HVAC units not being made the way they used to be. Had the previous installer mentioned to me before I purchased the TRANE units from him...that they are prone to having cracked evaporator coils or that they were having any issue at all...I would never have purchased the TRANE units. I don't know anyone who would be happy to listen to Kyle tell them after paying over $22,000.00 on two TRANE units, that he'll put the replacement in but he isn't going to honor his labor warranty on the new unit he puts in. Kyle's quote is only $300.00, less than the owner of the original installment company. So Kyle didn't save me thousands like he is claiming he's doing. This is Kyle's text to me: I yelled at him not to call me anymore and never used profanity while speaking with him. "Please do not contact me or my company anymore. You are placed on a do not call list and I really do not appreciate you using profanity and yelling at me in front of my family on a after hours call because somebody else put a system in your house and now will not cover the cost of repairs. I gave you several opportunities to talk to me respectfully and you refused. My system works at home and in all of my customers Homes. I was trying to be respectful and told you absolutely became outraged on a system that we have never even seen before let alone never seen your house before. We helped several customers in the communities around us and not once have we provided a quote to a customer that has been thousands less and have them scream in my face. We will never do work for you and please remove us from your call log." Like I said...GOD complex. Your tone is not like it was on the phone. Especially since what you are now typing...Yelp can see. The only thing you wanted to make clear to me on the phone is that you weren't going to honor "your labor warranty" on a unit that you were going to install. As I wrote in the review...I had no knowledge prior to purchase...that most of the HVAC systems on the market today are all having issues. Your demeaning tone while instructing me to keep my mouth shut while you speak is very unprofessional and similar to a dictator. There was no slander on your website about your company, but you definitely lied by posting that I called you after 9pm. My cell phone definitely shows you calling me after 9:12pm, so you lied about that, as I didn't call you. I messaged you on Yelp to find out if you still wanted to look at the unit this evening since it was so late already. You also failed to mention in your post that I put a HVAC request on Yelp and you initially called me earlier in the evening, 5:41pm to be exact. So, I never made any phone calls to you...both times...you were the one who called me. I can show that to Yelp as well. So, with both of those lies comes the third lie, you accusing me of using profanity. You were not trying to work with me to do something out of the goodness of your heart...you were clearly trying to get out of having anything to do with this situation. I would have been fine with you telling me that you want nothing to do with this situation because you didn't like what the prior installer was saying about TRANE. Sammy really helped my family with getting an entirely new AC system (outside condenser and attic coil) on short notice. I initially talked to the other owner one evening, and we setup for them to come the next morning at 8am. On the way to my house though, Sammy ran into traffic coming from another location due to construction; he called me to let me know about that and we setup a time slightly later in the morning for his arrival. I really appreciated that they kept me informed of changes. He conveniently did the inspection and diagnostics while I was at work, and then called me to explain the issues and even sent me pictures. They put the replacement unit/equipment on hold for me as due to the large size we needed for our home that specific unit size was in short supply in the area. After talking things over with Sammy, I actually asked him to just button up the system while I got other quotes. I got a quote from another contractor and had them start the job (removal), but after they started it wasn't going as planned, unfortunately and they were not on track to complete the job the way I needed. To get the job back on track, I called Sammy back, and after talking things over, he kindly agreed to take the job over from the other contractor and provide a thorough and professional completion. We worked out a very reasonable quote for him to finish the job and I agreed to have him do it. That was an evening call, and Sammy moved things around on his schedule to come the very next morning to start the completion (the unit was still on hold from when I originally called him). He was able to line up pick up the unit for us and finish the job in one day, and even replaced a gas furnace regulator that was determined to be leaking. The unit they installed is manufactured in-state and comes with a 12-year warranty (2 years MORE than almost every other brand), which is outstanding (and extra 2-year warranty is TOTALLY worth it!). After installation, they charged the system and checked for leaks and upon finding none, they completed the job. I can't tell you how much I really appreciate Sammy working with me on this, despite my decision to go with another company initially, and then he came in and finished the job without giving me a hard time (which would have been understandable) for not initially choosing him / KLC for the job outright. What great customer service! After this experience with Sammy and KLC, I would HIGHLY, HIGHLY, HIGHLY recommend them to anyone else, including family members, considering their professionalism, great communication, timeliness, and total out-the-door cost all things considered.
