They give you jelly bears, too. :-) Eat in the restaurant, it is simple German food, but very good. They have an English language menu. Excellent beer, too! Not expensive. Great breakfast with very fresh breads, cheeses and meat. Only around 30 minutes taxi from Hamburg Airport. A nice, friendly place to stay. Very welcoming to lone traveller.

Been there now and then with our Princess for one day project and the crew. The hotel is OK - it…read morejust worked for us. However, there is always a problem - and the tragic part is that no one wants to take responsibility. Last time I have been, I tried to check out the group of 23 - as I said I was traveling on a major photo assignment​ - and even getting the invoice was a problem. Most recently I helped my buddy Greg Gorman, a superstar in the photographic world. His room was so cold he wanted to leave a day early and asked if we could check out early with no charge for the coming night. "Not a problem at all" the friendly lady at the check out confirmed - after all, it was just before nine am. Of course,​ the hotel charged us - and accuses Greg and his and my assistant to lie. Sorry, that's too much. We will not go again.
