They used inferior parts which caused my phone's screen to become useless. I don't live in the Northport area so when I finally had a chance to go back and asked them to look at it they claimed it was a graphics card issue on the motherboard and that there was nothing they could do. I took it to Tuscaloosa Wireless and they replaced the screen. Now it's as good as new. I understand that mistakes happen, sometimes you get a bad part, but when you point blank lie to me you've lost all credibility. After doing some online research, I decided that it would be wise to consult a professional rather than risk electrocution by tinkering with it myself. I was unsure if I would even be able to find a place in Birmingham that could service a nearly 50 year-old amp, but ERC told me that they could fix me up. They installed and biased my new tubes and replaced a few inner parts, and it sounded like a brand new amp. However, the next day, I noticed that the audio was weak again. I contacted the shop and was assured that they would fix it for me. They were very apologetic and fixed it without any extra charges. The amp has sounded great ever since. I definitely know where to go the next time I need any help.
