I wanted to write a review a while ago but it's not easy talking about your issues openly with…read morestrangers. This treatment was the only thing that has ever helped me. Years passed I tried all sorts of anti-depressants, some helped a bit for a short period, some made it worse. I grew up in violence, drugs and verbal abuse, this led to PTSD, Depression and Anxiety. The treatment worked, yes it cost more but the results are worth it. I did use my credit card and wish the insurance would see this as a treatment just as much as the anti-depressants they easily cover. I can't speak for some as I seen Anna had a loved one who relapsed or didn't take the treatments seriously. As for me this treatment stopped me from drinking, self medicating and fixed the problem in which was causing me to binge or run from my problems in the first place. The experience for me was about learning, growing and turning a new leaf. If you're going here not to change or not look for solutions, I find that it will be hard for anything to truly help you. You must work on yourself as well as use Medical treatment if you feel you need extra help. This doesn't mean refuse Counseling, outreach programs or whatever may help you with your recovery, whatever that maybe. As for the staff, they are wonderful and make you feel comfortable every step of the way. The whole place gives you the feeling that they are there to help you, offered Counselors if needed and Dr Patel is very thorough with his patients, talks you through the whole process and what to expect etc. Being honest is key to the success of this treatment and I can find no better place to go to than Midwest Ketamine Center. We are planning on moving out of state and I don't think I will be able to change clinics because of trust, I most likely will fly in for my 3-4 month Boosters I hope this review helped. Ketamine has had a dramatic impact on my life and the early results show it's much more successful than anti-depressants being used. Whatever helps you on your path to self healing is a positive. Just remember that this is not for everyone and the success rate is very high, 50% - 70% is nothing scuff at. I suggest that you always do your research before you choose any treatment. I didn't fully commit to this until almost a year of debating whether or not to do so. However in my case I wish I would have done it sooner but the truth is, not everyone is me. You have to choose your path, I have chosen mine and I feel it was the right one. Words are not easy so I'm just going to say thank you Dr. Jennie. Our Mom has been a trooper since being on her own. Her attitude is positive and Jennie recognized that and called it out in her analysis, along with Mom's dementia. Again, we are grateful to have found Jennie in this journey.

Our testing protocol assesses for the many dementias, including Alzheimer's, dementia with Lewy bodies, and cognitive impairments related to Parkinson's, Huntington's disease, multiple sclerosis and ALS; vascular dementia, frontotemporal lobar degeneration; stroke; traumatic brain injury; mood and other psychiatric disorders; and related behavioral and emotional disturbances (ex: paranoia, aggression, hallucinations, delusions, and sundowning). Indicators of the need for neuropsychological assessment can be abrupt or insidious, such as increased forgetfulness, wandering, disorientation while driving or frequent fender benders, decreased judgment related to money management, and medication noncompliance. Our goal is to help you understand the diagnosis, treatment options, and the level of recommended care, as well as to render an opinion as to a loved one's capacity to make well-informed decisions, if that is in question. A doctor's order is not required for a neuropsychological assessment. Medicare Part B and supplemental insurances cover a neuropsychological assessment every 12 months. Dr. Wilson-Binotti will come to the individual whether at home or in a facility. She schedules assessments during the day, with evenings and weekend hours available as convenient for the family.

You've heard the adage "Nice guys finish last," right? Well, it's applicable to us females, too…read more This past year was a rough one for me: first, one of my sweetest students (age 16) passed away suddenly. Then I was in a relationship that was very, very difficult on multiple accounts. To top it off, though I have pretty good self esteem, I just feel awkward and insecure sometimes. Needless to say, I needed someone to help me sort out my feelings of grief, confusion, and inadequacy, coupled with the blame and general negativity that was being projected onto me. I hoped therapy might help give me a more positive perspective and learn some coping and/or behavior strategies. Dr. Greenburg is very perceptive: she's picked up my nuances and habits pretty quickly, and I like that. She's pleasant and asks about my week. If I have a problem or something that's bothering me, she has a plan of attack. She can also sort through my unchronological messes and see patterns (in how others treat me, my response) and brings them up. This is EXACTLY what I wanted. And, she's very non-judgy. (Also exactly what I needed.) Through this journey I've learned what "codependency" is. "Nice guys" and "nice girls," you might want to look into it; awareness might help us "givers" walk away with more than just the short end of the stick! (In short: Treat yourself with importance, because others aren't necessarily going to!) So, to sum, I'm feeling positive and optimistic, and I'm thankful for that. Onward to a better, more positive year!
